Amazing place to go for a weekend getaway. So much to do like, Zulu dancing, game drive, shop, swim etc. I enjoyed my stay. Though it is quite far from everything, still a good place to rest and be in nature. Very very affordable

Good place to see Zulu culture and some wildlife. Lots of crocodiles and some other smaller animals. Situated in the valley of thousand hill, beautiful scenery all around.

Even though we are from Durban the experience was so worth the visit. Breath taking views of the hills. Great food. Friendly staff. Beautiful Zulu dancers. Very brave lady doing the snake demonstration and very large crocodiles. An unforgettable experience

Amazing location in Hillcrest that offers activities, shows, safari rides, accommodation and breathtaking views. Bathroom facilities were not clean but it was the good amenities made up for the lack of a hygienic bathroom.

Great outing for the whole family to go and learn about reptiles and to enjoy a game drive. The burger bar is worth a visit, well priced food and very generous portions.

Their Zulu dancing experience was great, the staff were great & the crocodiles and snakes were OK. It's smaller than we expected, we went a full day out but had done everything (except the game drive) in 2 hours ! Having said that, still with a visit.

It is always lovely to visit the Phezulu Safari Park,,, the Zulu dance and learning the Zulu culture always makes me proud and to share with those visiting our country

Also impressed with the reptiles place, especially the crocodiles,,, also amazing to see the different types of birds with their nests there right in the crocodile’s enclosures..

The souvenir shop also has very lovely and wide variety of goodies!

I realy enjoyed taking my kids to the Croc farm and looking at the snakes. There are regular shows there and croc feeding.

Great drive there, stunning views at the park, and some fantastic items at the gifts store, but the presentation by the cultural dancers was lacking [which was disappointing since that's why people go there]; I've definitely seen better. Also, the restaurant serves European food, rather than African food, which was also disappointing. Still a lovely morning out though

Pretty awesome food , bit of a wait but well worth it. Great memories returning to this venue as I also took both my daughter and son to this resort when they were much younger. Worth a visit!!

A good park that's close to Durban and reasonably priced. There's a good variety of stuff to do. We did the reptile house and Zulu culturing experience. Both were good but not great. No complaints. It's a very family friendly atmosphere and the restaurant is good as well.

PheZulu Safari Park is situated an easy 35min drive west of Durban. Overlooking the iconic Valley fo 1000 Hills, the park is one of the best places to gain insight into the Zulu people.

The park has a small model Zulu village that guests can take a guided tour of. And 4 times a day, Zulu dancers put on a perfomrnace for visitors, depicting the traditional courtship and marriage of the Zulu people.

Also on site is a crocodile and reptile park where visitors can learn more about the animals found in our gardens and rivers.

And if that's not enough, visitors can also enjoy a meal at one of two restaurants on site while gazing over the fantastic Valley of 1000 Hills!

The staff were friendly and welcoming.
We had a two night stay at the Plane Tree chalet which was neat, clean and beautifully furnished.
The views were amazing and although the monkeys pinched our sugar while we weren't paying attention, housekeeping was kind enough to top it up when they cleaned our chalet the next morning.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will be returning soon!

Nice stop for tourists to see some Zulu dancing and a bit of an explanation about Zulu culture. Also has a nice souvenir shop with quite decent prices.

Fantastic time visiting phezulu, there is something for everyone. From feeding crocodiles to learning more about Zulu culture. A must visit.
