I spent 3 days here and I didn't want to leave. This place is just perfect. It has a wonderful bar opened till 1 am, great dorms, self catered houses and huts. It's really clean and well maintained. The atmosphere is just amazing and there are many many things to do in the surrounding areas!!

We had a great New Years at Fairy Knowe! Everyone was very friendly. I thought the food was a bit overpriced, but I understand they probably have a lot of international guests.

Great place to stay. The big plus is the whole complex, which includes many sitting areas, pool table, beach volleyball court, swings and of course amazing wilderness views. Private rooms are available, pretty standard rooms, in size and decor, with heating and spacious ensuite bathroom. Breakfast and dinner offered for extra payment, bar attracts guests and locals alike. Staff are very very nice!

It's pretty much middle of the road kind of place. Nothing horrific happened to us, but certainly not like the photos (far more run down). Management's attitude is pretty sh$$ty. It's survivable and the showers are hot..but not great value for the price.

Principally a beautifully maintained place to stay with perfect access to hiking. However the management is busy to check whether guests respect their rules or not. Very sad.
