Stayed in the backpackers on my night off while volunteering in South Africa. Great spot right on the beach. The bar had good drinks and great food with an open fire creating a wonderful attmosphere. Clean showers and beds. Community kitchen was well kept. Would stay again for sure!

Beautiful location for a backpackers hostel, but a bit more Spartan than other backpackers along the garden route. The shower also had an issue with draining which left me showering in a gross little pool. Staff were super friendly and helpful, and breakfast was also good.

As soon as I arrived they showed me the sunset at the beach, which is basically their backyard. Beautiful location and super friendly staff! Really enjoyed the freshly cooked meal as well. Amazing stay

Very friendly and so much vibe there. It was awesome staying there and having the guys set up the beer pong table for us. Can't wait to go back.

Awesome people, prime location, friendly staff. Need I say more? Stayed there a week ago and had an amazing time. The breakfast is good, the bed was super comfortable I struggled getting out of bed a few times. Nice water pressure in their showers. We got a really nice welcome, can't wait to go back and do the stand up paddle boarding and snorkeling in the lagoon.

We booked a double room for 700 Rand and it was dirty so we decided not to stay. There were rats running around their garbage dump in the parking lot and the room's carpet was worn and dirty looking. There were some stains on the sheet.

I was here twice. It's a great backpackers with lovely atmosphere and fair prices. It's far from the town which is nice and right by the beach. They organize many activities

I stayed at the beach house of afrovibes in december 2016 and it was PERFECT !! Really nice place, everything looks new, clean, and the place is designed with taste. The swimming pool area is really relaxing, the beach is 3 min away and sunset shouldn't be missed : so beautiful! Big plus: the staff is really friendly and was always here to help us when needed, big up to elvis who definitely went the extra miles with us !!! Pili pili the beach bar close to the backpacker has also a really nice vibe, feet in the sand, cocktail in hand you understand why they called sedgefield the slow town, just relax and enjoy ! Also it's a baz bus stop so you can just be dropped off and picked up at the door, easy !!! Thanks a lot for the stay Afrovibe I'll be back !
