They are try to make the best with what they have been given. CT scans seldom works so patients are transported (via an ambulance which can sometimes take a few day to show up) to greys hospitals and that wastes valuable time and sometimes lifesaving time. The emergency department looks really modern and pretty new (well done there) overall all government hospitals need more funding and less stealing and nonsense tender stories.

In 2015 Aug28 i went inside d labour ward to experience d scissor session for my 8mnths bbygil in r critical operation ,n dey were extra careful ; #big up labour ward stuff

I have a mixed experience, the first time was when my gf had a miscarriage on a 6 months baby which I thought could have been prevented to begin with. Then we eventually had a son and it is that time when I thought edendale staff is the best but goverenment is failing them when it comes to equipment supply.

Wat a wonderful experience I had here 6 years ago when I had my premature baby boy, it felt like home, keep up the good work especially with the tiny babies😊

Busy Hospital with a wonderful staff. A hub of activity in the roots of Pietermaritzburg. Watch out for taxi's on the way.
