Rip off for day visitors. Visiting family staying in the chalet. 90 r per person + 90 r for the car
.total for 2 person's and car 270 rands , for couple of hours. The same as per day for a stand. The site rates for this year are 77 r per person.i inquired with caretaker and i was told, take it or leave.By the way, the grounds are lovely .

Very well maintained. Beautiful scenery. Neat and tidy. Good security. Water taps need attention. Not all taps are threaded to accommodate hose fittings to fill water tanks.

Stayed Eastco 18 – 20 November 2017, The access gravel road was good, Susan, the caretaker, is very friendly and efficient. The ablutions were clean and neat with plenty of hot water, they are also pet friendly which was great, during our stay, we felt safe. Would like to visit them again.

For me, this little camp is my place of paradise. Right next to the Vaal River, fish eagle calling in the morning, there can be nothing better. I went with the South African Camping Club (sacampingclub.co.za) in April 2016 and the ablutions had been upgraded and a new pool had been added. It is good to see that money paid for camp fees is being used on maintaining and upgrading the camp site.
