The worst experience ever. Our bed was so uncomfortable and were told that our bookings doesn't Include breakfast, which was indicated during the making of the bookings. It took me 2 weeks to get back the R 600.00 deposit. The lady at the reception never even apologized for the inconvenience. Our bed was not made when we came back from running There was no dustbin in the room and we had to use plastic bags for the bin. The most Inconveniencing thing was when I asked the lady at the reception the number of the manager, she rudely interrupted me by saying I can speak to the manager since he was in cape Town. I won't be going back to this place anytime soon and wouldn't recommend it to anyone but we all make different choices.

I made a booking online for a room, but when I wanted to check in I found out that it was a camping site and not a room.

The pictures online are deceiving. The lodge is near a road so there is noise from traffic. The rooms require revamping. it is a cabin in the bush experience and must be described as such. Too many bugs. The property can be maintained better and the upkeep needs to improve.

Horrible experience! Lots OF NOISE from the neighbors, the owner was a very rude man. We stayed in the "honeymoon" chalet where we received one bed throw to sleep with (no warm blankets). Breakfast made me want to throw up. Pancakes filled with what looked like "sausage".

Upon our arrival, we had to pay our outstanding balance and a "breakage deposit" of R300. We were told we would get our money back on that Monday (no establishment does this). A week later and still no sign of our R300. We called the owner several times but he did not answer the calls. This place steals from its customers. We will never go back! Very very disappointed in Shangrila Innibos

Lodging is fine and the breakfast is good, but not much to do. Very nice swimming pool, but it is not heated in the winter. Volleyball court in a bad condition.

Lovely, lovely lovely. Each stand has a shaded area plus private shower and kitchenette. The place can do with extra helpers to pitch a tent and clean-up

I booked a two nights for two and I was not happy at all. Their advert on the Safari website was misleading, they show a picture of a nice brick and mortar room with everything at a special price of R480 per night for two adults. When I reserved my night the price ballooned from R480 to R680, when I asked why, I was told the R480 was for Caravan park but the picture displayed was a nice hotel room. On arrival I was forced to sleep on a cramped piece of a Wendy house (called Log Cabin 2), forced to share an outside kitchen, which was exposed to lots dust and lot of insects. All their information boards were written in Afrikaans not that I hate the language but they should accommodate other people. When checked out a lady was sent to make sure that nothing was broken so that I could be refunded my breakage deposit and to prepare the Wendy house for the next guest to be fooled. The staff was not even wearing protective clothing, especially the gloves. Please if you decide on this one please please check all the facts and advocate for all the poor workers you will meet there
