It gets 3 stars, because, on my sisters graduation it poured with rain, which didn't help us under the parapet, to get to and from the photo booth, it rained through the parapet due to holes or cracks on them..now just take glamorously dressed individuals trying to dodge the leaks under the shade of the parapet while trying to get through human traffic getting into the arena in time for the graduation ceremony which went on well thereafter. Otherwise clean and neat set up and so is the decor modern.

Ice needs to be worked on to be level, but the overall experience was fun and the staff were nice and willing to teach us on the ice.

My goodness, so much fun 😆. 1st time I knew nothing about skating & the gentleman by the name of Sthe (employee at Ice rink) thought me all I now know. Now, I fly on ice - one second am here & next second am gone. Penguin's & seal's are available for hire if you learning. Too much falling though

Awsome experience for good price, good staff and assistance on the rink. Parking is not so available, choose time and date carefully tend to get a little crowded

Lovely ice rink, also been to the ice rinks in CT and JHb, fee is high too enter but definitely worth it, not sure why you should pay if you are an observer, non skater, in my opinion that's abit much.

Last time I went, back in 2010 their ice melted quickly. Every now and then we had to come out so they could remove water. Now I'm told that the place has since been revamped and it is way better than before, so I will be visiting it soon to check it out m

Since the revamp of the Durban Ice Rink, it is now really good. Ice no longer melts so quickly, and getting in to the ice rink is a pleasure. Food is not great tho, they need to work on cooking better food.
