  I was in Cape Town in January 2018 and Khile from Cycle Teknix helped me out with a rental of a Supersix Evo so that I was able to go for a road ride. I brought my own helmet and shoes but due to an issue with getting my pedals off of my bike at home I arrived needing those too (and compatible cleats). Khile was able to help me out there as well and organized delivery and pick-up from the V&A Waterfront all at a very reasonable cost. I would definitely recommend these guys and when I'm in Cape Town again, I'll be heading by to Cycle Teknix again. Thanks!

  We have been clients of Cycle Teknix for the past 4 years. We have found the team at Cycle Teknix to be extremely client centric and professional. Hanbe, the owner, is extremely dedicated and always willing to go the extra mile. I recommend this shop to anyone at anytime.

  I can tell that you are passionate about your business and you genuinely want your customers to have the best experience.
  
  In all business, things wont always run smoothly. but it is how it is dealt with that separates the great from the average.
  
  I leave my original review below only so future visitors can see that there was a problem but also so that they can see that someone deeply cares and will come to the party to make it right.
  
  Appreciate the concern and effort!
  
  Zero customer feedback.
  
  After the "A" -Service my bike was not able to shift through more than 3 gears on the rear. Front crank creaks horribly when riding. Clearly wasn't even tested. and yes I paid for this.
  
  Also am still waiting for the workshop to return my call regarding the part which was meant to take 3 days but is now at 10 days.
  
  Not a happy customer.

  Appalling service. Avoid at all costs.
  
  I paid for and hired a bicycle in Dec 2016 / Jan 2017 and returned it in Jan 2017.
  
  Included in the payment was an amount held for as a temporary deposit, in which the terms of sale / invoice indicates that said amount will be refunded when the bicycle is returned.
  
  I provided my banking account details and was promised a refund by Deone van Sittert of the organisation (as the bicycle was returned in the same condition it was provided to me).
  
  After numerous emails and telephone calls, they have for the most part simply ignored my correspondence. I don't understand the strategy of ignore the issue in the hope that it goes away.
  
  My advice is to stay away from such an organisation - there are plenty of other service providers in the market who would be happy to lend you a quality bike and abide to the terms of sale by refunding you on time.
  
  Theoretically, if a deposit is not going to be refunded, then (depending on the bike etc) the customer may as well purchase the bike outright from another supplier considering the final cash outlay.
