The place has so many ants that invade your space. 1st day i bought food on my way to the hotel then all the food was full of ants. The food is great but the place is dull. You cannot chill outside with your cooler bag with your friends outside, u'll do so at the varenda. Its a place to go to for only 1 night not so many nights like we are here for. 4 nights is a no no! Book 1 night and leave thats it

Very friendly staff and beautiful views all over. however, the food was old, the bread rolls that they serve when you sit down for lunch is rock hard, also we ordered a desert with chocolate cake, also very old and dry and hard.
They mislead you on there website, as they say you will receive a welcoming drink on arrival, bar fridge in the room. we had none of this. also they only put one coffee in the room when you are two people. although you don't really want to make coffee as the spoons and cups are dirty.
When we wanted to go and shower, our shower was dirty as well as the bath, looked like it hasn't been cleaned in quite some time.
This place has a lot of potential, but some where someone lost the plot. it defenetely needs some attention and upgrading.
Very disappointing that a jool like this is not looked after.
Everything needs attention, from the food all the way down to the bathrooms.response / report this review -

Wonderful experience, what you see on the pics is nothing compared to the live views! Brilliant sites of nature, great rain+sun+cloud+cold all in one day. Great escape and definately you'll come back refreshed and alive. Staff is super friendly, cook great food, humble people all round. Rooms are always fresh and staff will never bother you, they actually wait until you step out the your room then only go in to clean and when you come back from breakfast vowalla you room is super clean. Every night you get chocolate sweets on the pillows! Im glad I spent my honey moon here December 2017.

My Lady and I were there for her birthday from the 11th till the 14th. The weather disappointed us on the first day as we wanted to view the hills around area. But everything was so great as we were warm in our room and food was out of this world (Thanks to the Chef). The following day the weather cleared out and that's when our fun beganwe took a walk around the forest experiencing true sound of nature. The great part was even the neighbouring famers were so accomodative when they saw us..They even offer to take us some pictures on their private properties (Thanks Johan). Thanks to the Chef and cooking team for organizing a birthday cake for my lady making her day so special. Spa team you were amazing too.
Trust me We will be coming back soon.

This is a cool and quiet place. The staff were friendly. When they realized it was going to be cold in the room, they offered us wood to make fire in the bedroom and it turned to be warmer. Thank you coach house management.

Great location and good service, staff are really trying hard! Good, hearty, homemade food and breakfast included was great. Hotel overall in need of some TLC and upgrading but it seems to be happening. Need to promote the hiking and cycling nearby as a drawcard. Duvets on the beds should be invested in. Good value for money.

Had the most amazing weekend away. The staff (Joyce and Thomas) are unbelievably effecient and friendly. The prices are better than reasonable. The manager (sean) is always present. The view is breathtaking. The food was splendid. Overall experience was a 10 out of 10. The only thing they no longer have is the billiards table.
