Never answers phone calls.. Impossible to contact the store
Please sort out your phone. It just rings and rings and no one answers it.
Went in to the store on Saturday 21th January 2017. Was assisted by a guy named Byron who on that day was more than helpful. I had applied for an Unrestricted APN. Its now the 24th Jan and still no feedback from them so I phoned cell c technical department, as Cell C in the Glen just lets their phones ring, all of this just to find out that my documentation was never sent through and that I have been waiting for something I thought was being processed. 24/48 Hours has turned into 72/96 Hours. How is that fair?
Worst Service received from Lionel & Byron. No call backs, I have been calling everyday just to find out ETA of phone ordered to which i was told they (Lionel\Byron) would call me back! Called again today and am told there is no stock, however before taking out the contract 2 weeks ago, i had Lionel Confirm there is Stock. 2 weeks later, i have cancelled my contracts and STILL no phone, no call back from Lionel\Byron and no contract!
Dear Lionel
Please see below posted on Hello Peter.
I received a Huawei P8 Lite phone with a Cell C contract on 21/08/2016.
The phone died 10 days later and I took it back to Cell C The Glen and it was send in to the service centre on 03/09/2016.
I was told on 13/09/16 that the phone would be replaced and went the same day to collect it.
Now what I received back was a refurbished phone that had a scratch on the glass and could not connect to my wireless network at home.
I took it back to the store and it was send back to the service centre.
The consumer law state that the phone should have been replaced with a new device.
See below.
IMPORTANT:
The choice is the consumer’s: the supplier cannot force a consumer to opt to have the
goods repaired if the consumer wants a refund or replacement. The consumer can insist on
a cash refund instead of a store credit or vouchers, or on a replacement with something
similar at no additional cost. The supplier must bear the costs of collecting and/ or replacing
the defective goods.
