A great place with a wide selection of paint, lumber, tools, furniture, rope, doors, tables, etc. Their prices are fair on most items but can be expensive when buying furniture and doors. Their lumber can br a little low quality and sometimes overpriced. Their selection can run low at times and things may not be in stock. Their website doesn't operate that well and a phone call is always best to confirm in store stock. Most employees don't know exactly what they're talking about and can be pretty useless at times, except to show you where the items are or get you a price. Great store overall and definitely worth going to for hobbyists and diy projects.

Fair selection of hardware and DIY products. Prices is not the cheapest in town. Service is great, many staff in all iles that know the product and are super helpful. If you know your prices you will find some hidden bargains in between the stock.but you need to do you homework before the time. Ample parking and I find not many clients in the shop so lots of time and space to slowly browse through their stock

Very well stocked and very well staffed. In an era where customer service is something that many businesses don't care about, it was so refreshing and impressive to have someone approach me as soon as I walked in who could guide me to sales assistants who knew all the answers to my questions (or who knew the right person to ask when they didn't have an answer for me). And to cap it all off, when it came time to loading the building materials I bought into my car, the assistants at the collections area were super friendly and super efficient. It's unfortunately not close to my home, but if you're allows, I will always return to this hardware store.

The place to go. Similar to Builders Warehouse but far more client orientated. Spacious, open, well stocked and organised. They are knowlegdeable and eaget to assist

Fitted DIY automatic irrigation recently. Went to Builders and bought a trolley full of items but they didnt have stock of 1 item I needed. Drove to Brights to buy the remaining item and saw their prices are about 30% cheaper. Bought the full trolley again at Brights, saved a couple of grand, and returned the Builders items the next day. Converted customer, keep it up!

I went there to get metal remover for my pool and they were the only store I could find that had stock, in fact, they had two brands.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and it was a pleasure going there. The store is very spacious and clean. I will definitely be back.

Detailed complaint sent to Luiz the Owner. Brace oneself as this ex 10 year customer of Brights and Plascon paints is not leaving without taking a few customers. You failed to intervene and take action showing just how insignificant a customer is to you as well. Recall my call last month and sms regarding the defective double velvet I returned for refund. Be mindful that firstly Pedro's("Manager") first response was that I had to go to the Stikland branch for a refund since I bought it there. This upset me that he would send me away in the first place and only after arguing with me told me that a refund can be done but I would have to wait on Plascon to conduct lab test etc. Never mind checking it himself and trusting the customer. I refer you to your refund policy which does not specify this process relating to paint refunds and furthermore I returned it within 7 days after purchase with original till slip, but I obliged. Note also that when Plascon's agent collected the paint his spot check verified the paint was too thin as reported to me by Jonathan(salesman), but no the customer must wait for the lab results and this was about 4 weeks ago. Again 3 weeks ago Jonathan gave me another call informing that he followed up with Plascon but it has not gone to the lab yet. So finally 6 weeks later today I called Jonathan threatening to complain and he calls back to inform me that the paint still has not been lab checked? To top it all off I spoke to Pedro today who again wanted to argue with me that I took issue with him deferring me the stikland branch to I fail to understand and believe that two supposed reputable companies like brights and Plascon is associated with such disgusting customer service. A sorry will not get me back into Brights or to buy a Plascon product in future..

Despite being a small store, the prices were good and the staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. A great store, will most definitely be back.

Staff are very helpful, which is very unusual in the Hardware Industry. Prices beat all other Hardware stores hands down. To me it is worth traveling the extra distance.

Looked up the web site, phoned the number given for this branch to confirm what the site said about being open till 2 pm on Sunday, a recorded message confirmed open till 2pm, then drove all the way (15 minutes) to find the store closed at 12.45 with a SIGN IN the WINDOW saying CLOSED on SUNDAYS!
This was after being shut out AT 4 PM THE PREVIOUS DAY. Sorry, you have just lost a good customer who is throwing away his Brights card.

I agree.
Builders Warehouse just gave time upon time of disappointment. No stock, idiot staff (if you could find one) and ignorant. Most times I knew more than they did.
Brights has been the goto place (even though much further), for many years.
Thank heavens they have opened in Montague Gardens.
Worth supporting!
