Ordered a Lennon bread at 12h30 and received a
note that they cannot fill my delivery 20 minutes later,no reason given.Tried to phone them but did not answer their phone. Their website did not state that they are closed,in fact said that Sunday’s are their busiest time.If they just cancel your delivery without any reason I do not think I will ever order anything from them in the future or recommend them for that matter

Didn't eat or drink here, but stepped in to ask a few queries. Staff were very helpful and the atmosphere was great. Wine tastings are limited to the afternoon.

Very nice wines. Absolutely perfect on a clear day to sit outside and take in the local pleasures of Church street in Stellenbosch. An absolute must for wine lovers when visiting this town.

A great place to have a glass or bottle with friends after a day's work. Provides some small dishes, but the wine bar element is pronounced. Great white wines and a dry MCC

We had a great time here and the wine was delicious! You can write on the tables with chalk which kept us entertained like children but we loved it.

Gorgeous, balmy last Friday evening, my niece and I sat at a road-edged, pavement table at Brampton's in Church Street, Stellenbosch. Fabulous service, wine and snacks! (Apologies for ONE star!!) A troupe of "fabulous, talented, well-mannered" buskers performed in the road in front of us. As we applauded, a table of about 8 patrons behind us, poured out a vitriolic, verbal assault on me - "Don't f..king encourage them"! I chose not to continue listening to their loud, vulgar, humiliating (continuous) discourse while observing this amazing troupe run away like a bunch of terrified rabbits during the hunting season. Men!!! Men in "well-put-together" outfits with white shoes sparkling against the tarmac - performing harmonies, descants and dance moves that deserve to be on stage - APPLAUDED!!!!! Not chased away by some early 30-something, white "Capetonian" (apparently?) yuppies, in what (at a very cursory glance) were wearing outfits that probably cost more than most buskers would earn in a very good month (or even a year!) I have just returned from abroad, Melbourne being my last stop before Johannesburg and Stellenbosch - buskers were everywhere, all day! Embraced, colourful, TOLERATED if not LOVED! Every colour, creed - painting of pavements or trying to be Led Zepplin in the streets! Whatever! After my latest Brampton's experience (don't feel alone, I've seen it at Java up the road) - I feel embarrassed to be a South African - and, thank God, not a busker in Stellenbosch!
