  The best breakfast spot in Stellenbosch. Also, if you're looking for coffee with soya/almond milk that tastes like the real thing, then this is the place!
  
  The staff are friendly, attentive and welcoming. Some even remember your usual order which just shows their attention to detail.
  
  The daily breakfast/lunch specials are always a treat. The newly-introduced cake tasting is highly recommended.

  Have launch here at least twice a month and love the friendly staff and they make you feel like family. The food is great and not wat you get at other places.

  My absolute favourite little coffee gem. Every mouthful of coffee is a delight. Try the iced coffee (ice cubes, milk, honey and coffee), the cold brew (refined coffee heaven) or the hot coffee, cream and chocolate sinful spoil There is a taste you will love! Daily newspapers available, usually quiet and the baristas are all laid back and nice people.

  The food is always made out of an unusual combination of ingredients that somehow seem to work together perfectly. I've been to places where ingredients are combined just for show with only a side thought to the actual taste of the dish. This is certainly not the case here. The cakes, lunch specials and coffee I can especially recommend. Also, the hummus and toast sounds unassuming, but really is a small masterpiece with the hummus freshly made on the premises.

  With some of the best fresh coffee in town, you can't go wrong with this niche coffee shop. Their crisp pastries and cakes are the perfect pairing with a coffee while getting work done, in conversation or reading the newspapers.

  This is one of my favourite places to go in Stellenbosch. The food on offer somehow manages to be healthy and fresh while feeling totally decadent. I can honestly say that this is the only restaurant in the world where I have voluntarily ordered a salad (and devoured the whole thing with relish!). We love that you can pop in for a little savoury snack, designing your own mini platter with delicious options like chorizo, olives, warm roasted nuts, artisan breads, and the best hummus in town. But I must warn you: if you start eating their cakes you may never eat cake anywhere else again. I know I certainly don't. Try the classic carrot cake if just can't choose from their selection, or ask one of the friendly staff to recommend one. And the cinnamon pastries? Life changing.

  Favourite place to go in Stellies! Top notch coffee and food. Their cakes are hands down the best I've ever had and their hummus is out of this world. Amazing service and all round amazing vibe.

  On the north side of the street is the large cafe which serves breakfast and lunch. Food is delicious and service is excellent. Just across the street on the south side is their coffee bar The Blue Crane Roastery (see photos). Coffee is top notch and both the cafe and coffee bar deserve a 5 star rating. One of the best executed concepts in Stellenbosch.

  Spacious open coffee shop. Interesting light lunch options, which includes salads and variety of sandwiches. Place has aircon, welcome on hot days. Locals spend time on laptops, wifi is good. Food was enjoyable, coffee cups smallish and service was good. Well worth a try.

  Without a doubt the best place in stellenbosch. I have never had a bad meal here. I recommend that you sneak off with a piece of cake, especially the Guinness cake
