Nice ‘hidden’ gem that’s on the panoramic route. I think we would have never found it if not for google.maps or tripadvisor. Good food/low prices, where you can take a much needed break from all the traveling.

    Large portions of excellent food.
Good value for money in the most beautiful setting next to the river.

So glad I found this place. A truly African experience. The location is perfect along a quiet stream. No electricity but ice cold beer, and the food was first class. A concise menu which catered for everyone in our party. I thoroughly enjoyed the Springbok sosatie.

Beautiful hidden treasure, the river makes it a beautiful venue. No electricity, so bring cash. The ribs were delicious. Ask the waiter to point out the turtle!

Certainly a 'Bush' experience with no electricity. They rely on fires and coals to keep food warm and to cook on. That said, the food is good and South African. Well done.

Amazing location and scenery but the service is exceptionally poor. They were hesitant to serve us coffee at 10:40 in the morning since they weren't ready yet. This was the only thing we had since the attitude and service was really poor. Extremely rustic place, something unique. Might be better later in the day and peak season should be fine. It's a great place for kids to play by the river.

The food was amazing! Freshly prepared on open wood fires. The staff are friendly and the beer is cold. Great view from your table, and the river flows right by the dining area.

We found this restaurant by chance, the sign indicating the location is very easy to miss. Everything is beautiful, from nature to the setup of the restaurant, and the way the food is presented. Staff is very friendly. Would highly recommend a visit. The added bonus is they are pet friendly, my dog absolutely loved it.

Was looking forward just relaxing with my family at this beautiful sight. Sat for 5min plus only to hear that the manager has left with the keys and we can't even get a coffee.
