Bad to non-existent service. Mediocre vegetable dishes laden with way too much sugar. Been invited there twice, years apart, still same bad service and food. Don't ever want to go there again.
..we decide to celebrate my 62nd birthday here as we know this is a popular elegant venue that sit on top of a hill in the Durbanville Wine Route & Wine farms! The ride up is a bit rough on the cars you almost need a 4 X 4 to get to the top safe-lii! Once you get to the Top the Panoramic Views are awesome-lii beautiful and breath-taking! So after all the shaking we were read-ii to indulge in the Buffet Style Fine Dine and we were very happii as the restaurant wasn't very full as always, Mmmm more for us to enjoy! For starters they have soups, sushi and more! The mains are made up of various dishes such as stews, different pies, roast meats & plain & spice-ii types of rices! For desserts they have fruit-salad, trifles and ice cream! So much to choose from! Make sure you come on an emptii stomach! Hahahahaha! We had a splendid enjoyable birthday part-ii here! This place is a must visit especial-lii at night from the terrific views!
Great setting around a small dam and amongst silver birch trees. Tranquil ambiance with a varied menu. Wraps and burgers and pizzas and, and
Around the corner from a well frequented mountain bike route. Won't be disappointed.
The glasses had smudged fingerprints and lipstick on them. Welcoming drinks and glasses on the table. Worst food I have ever eaten at any restaurant. As I did not pay for the meals but was a guest at a birthday lunch I did not want to embarrass the person who had to pay. Never ever do I want to visit again. Do not even deserve a star.
Stunning views. Awesome spot for romantic dinners or functions. Our year end here was perfect.
Very nice stoep for groups but somewhat clinical, yet not unfriendly. Enjoyable menu. And walking around is nice too.
What a rip off dive. I took my company employees there for Christmas lunch. Totally disgusting food and service. After waiting 45 minutes asked the "manger" who was dressed as a Court Jester if we could have someone take our drinks order only to be told they had 550 guests. Their greed in taking on so many tables is really not my problem but what crowned it all was that the meat was tough and tasteless. After everyone had eaten they then started to carve a single solitary sheep on the spit. One for all these people. who do they think they are kidding? Stay far far away.
