decent place for one being inside a national park. it has a nice rhino trail for walking. food options are limited cause restaurant has a very small menu. pool is not very clean looking so we didn’t bother to use.

Good place for having quality time with yourself and nature, get wake up in the morning by beautiful singing birds not your alarm.

Great camping facilities. World class game viewing. Friendly staff. Cute little shop with the basics.

One of the best camps in the Kruger Park. Animals come right up to the fence. Awesome place to see elephants, buffalo and rhino

We had a 4-night stay here and loved it. Very peaceful camp with good amenities including pool, shop and restaurant. Staff could be a bit more friendly and helpful but overall we had a great time here. The camp seems to be in an area of the park well populated with animals too, so we saw a lot of wildlife just wandering around the camp! Including a hippo in the dam. Got two of the big 5 before we even checked in, on our drive from the gate. It's not a long drive from the gate either which makes planning arrival/departure convenient.

Basic accommodation. No TV. No WiFi.
Reception of own data is very weak except in areas near camp reception.
A lot of insects especially at night if you turn lights on
    Supermarket has all necessary things

1980 dated. We had a nice stay and there is a nice shop and restaurant. The little houses are ok but not luxurious.

Small but cosy. The hotplates in bungalos need replacing. Beautifull setting and the bird life is awesome in this camp. Wil come again.

A lovely 2.5km walk around the camp, good restaurant, large swimming pool, shop and rhino exhibit make this camp special. Rustic chalets spread in the bush give privacy. A large campsite but sandy! Game comes close to the fence so we had "an elephant on the barbecue "! :-) Sadly the dam was dry so little game viewing there.

One of the best camps in Kruger. The rooms are a bit sparse but more private than most other camps. Store is usually well stocked. Great game viewing right outside the gate including lions, rhinos, and a resident leopard. Gets chilly at night in the winter.

Love Kruger National Park. Berg end dal is one of the newer camps. Great location because its in the south of the park close to Melalane Gate. Which makes it most accessible for normal weekend trips. Need more time to go to other camps. We go to KNP often & length of visit varies. All the camps are worth visiting. For wildlife lovers KNP is a must.

Not the nicest camp in the kruger but it is comfortable. Also offers camping for a more budget friendly option. Is convenient coming from Johannesburg as it is close to the gates in the south so shortens the drive. Also in an area where there is a lot of big game so sightings in the area can be good

We stayed in a self catering unit in May 2016. We enjoyed everything the camp has to offer, especially the coffee served by one of the shops.
Exploring the lower park area from Berg-en-Dal is easy and we made every second count being out on daily trips.
The only downside for us was our unit's location next to a busy 'street' that took away a little bit of our privacy and the tranquil silence we were looking for. For the rest, we ejoyed our stay and will highly recommend the camp.
