This place is SO amazing that we save it for anniversary occasions. Check out the decor in attached picsyou cannot pick up one of those items with one hand. Food is superfluous, portions are massive, service is impressive. The price feels high, but unlike to think of it as R500 entrance fee (per couple), and then the bill isn't bad at all.

Just spent the most FABULOUS day having the most amazing lunch at Bellgabels Country Restaurant for a group of 11 gorgeous ladies who are all turning 60 this year. The service was excellent, the food looked like Picasso on a plate and tasted FANTASTIC and the unbelievably beautiful, ornate and fabulous ambience is something you will not find anywhere else in Gauteng. THIS IS A RESTAURANT IN A MILLION and EVERYONE who wants to experience something unique and AMAZING should make this a restaurant stop for that very special occasion. You miss this and you miss out on a little piece of heaven. Thank you to ERROL and his dedicated team for making our celebration so memorable. See you soon for the next SPECTACULAR event. *****

Really nice meal at Bellgables for my dad's birthday. We had a big table and all the staff were super friendly, attentive and interested in making our night a good one. The wine list is a highlight as there were some gems on there. Keen to go back for a lunch to see the beauty of the restaurant.

Lovely place, very unusual and worth at least two visits per year. Great for Sunday lunch with a group of adults not really suited to children.

A very unique place. Zebras in the garden. Interesting decor from all over the world which makes the space look like a museum. The service is among the best in the region. The food is always good and intricately served to make your plate look like a work of art. A great place for special ocassions while also being good for a quick lunch. Not an obnoxious place at all despite its ornate interior, you can arrive casually dressed or in formal attire and still receive the same excellent service. Highly reccomended!

A restaurant like no other I have ever seen, the dekor is from all over the world and fills up half of every table as well, making it a quiet and cozy place for dinner. Off the beaten track and not cheap, but so unique, excellent food and great staff that its a must visit place at least once. Afternoon and dinner visits are quite different, give both a try.

The decor and setting is something different and sets a nice atmosphere. The food was good but not great. I enjoyed the seafood crepe starter but I've had better lamb shank. I guess we expected more for the price tag. We were also a bit put off to find out after the meal that we have to pay R30 for parking. After we just spent R3000 at their restaurant? The place is quite far out in Muldersdrift and then customers have to pay for parking? We'll then rather go to Casalinga or Roots next time or make a trip out of it and go to The Silver Orange Bistro close to Harties.

Awesome award winning restaurant. They also do a number of wine tasting events. Located in a tranquil place. Something different. Decor reminds me of Russel Crowe's Gladiator.
