  For such a posh and classy place it was very disappointing. Took the grand parents out for their 50th wedding anniversary. The setting is very nice, the waiters are well informed and we had good service from them.
  The food was a total let down though. We had some of their specials for the day which included some beef carpacio (it was dry and no balsamic or parmesan was added, just leaves and the meat). Some figs wrapped in parma ham, which even a 4 year old could make.
  For mains there was a huge selection of specials which included some prawns, ribs and a fillet on the bone.
  Now to bugger up a fillet is difficult but they managed to screw it up so badly. The meat was raw as I can still see a heartbeat inside and the outside was burnt to charcoal as if the braaied on a never been cleaned grill. Even with a mushroom and a redwine sauce it could not have saved it. And the place is pricey! For that very disappointing fillet it was over R200.
  I was very disappointed by the food. Would not recommend this place for the food at all.
  Spur would be a better choice.

  Beautiful interior, great coffee and sweets, and a good wine selection. The food is always delicious. However, the service is rather confusing. Lots of waitstaff but it can take a long time for anything to be brought to the table. One experience was particularly disappointing as our waitress was rude. Otherwise, an enjoyable place with lots of green space around it. I really hope they improve their service and/or take some time to train their waitstaff, as that is the only missing piece to make this a fantastic place.
