Could do with a cleanup, but serves its 'main purpose' (as a place to change meticais) well. If it's your first time, you will undoubtedly experience some degree of discomfort, claustrophobia or anxiety with regard to safety, but as far as I know the place is very secure and you are less likely to get ripped off there than anywhere else (just make sure you have an idea of the going rate though before changing your money). There's also a decent store there. There's a pay toilet, but frankly, considering you have to pay to go in, it is not very well kept and if you have high expectations in that regard you are better off stopping at one of the earlier, quieter garages :)

Quick service, but very crowded compared to the Sasol just up the road, Mary other shops and street vendors, bugging you along the way, you can exchange Rands for Mets over here, also buy any last minute thing you forgot about to ensure you comply with Mozambique driving rules & regulations. Sim cards available but mostly not activated so useless Rather buy that at the Vodashop at the border crossing Mozambique side.

I found the entire place really dirty and unorganized. It feels really unsafe and was not at all comfortable at being there.

The husstle is understandable as a lot of people pass through, but something needs to be done.

The only good thing I can say about this place is that the workers do their jobs as they should. But apart from that, I would stay away if at all possible- but be sure to fill up the car before you pass the border.

Large garage mainly for border crossing people. Always full and busy. Service is quick and efficient. Not very clean.

24 houer open , excellent service , olso selling 50 ppm diesel
