Some of the waitresses there need an attitude adjustment. They gave me and my girlfriend weird looks Lord know why. After they directed me to table saying someone would come assist me. I had to call another waiter because they thought it better to have a conversation at the front desk than to assist us

My friend and I went there for breakfast yesterday. She phoned me this morning to enquire whether I was ill because she developed the runs as well as tummy cramps. And I experienced the same thing when I arrived home.
This morning I phoned to speak to the manager who told me that she would pass on my complaint to the franchisee.
Up to now I still have not had a response. I cannot understand that Spur after all the recent negative publicity can afford to behave in this manner. Does Spur really care??

Its a spur and seems to be the trend of mediocre production line service the is the only reason for three stars. I was at the point of using pictures to express myself to the manager, upon arrival, of what I needed from him. Place is clean though and food is regular spur food

My waitress kept forgetting about me. All the other staff, especially the kids play assistant who was cleaning up tables was very friendly and helpful. Food was good, but the restaurant is a bit too dark and gloomy.

The place is really awesome. The waiters and waitresses are Friendly and I just like the place as one of my favourite places to go to after a hard days work or just feel like going out. Oh and always make sure you go there hungry.

Standard type watery for burgers..steaks and ribsbur cooked to perfection.
Staff polite and helpfulbut we had to wait for our food and then again when we asked for the bill

I am utterly appalled by the level of service I've just received at the Apache Spur in Strand street, Cape Town city center from a girl named Fortunate. How unfortunate! I have been at this Spur on a number of occasions and have always received good service.

We got there and there was a queue of people going halfway down the staircase waiting for tables. We waited for something like 15 to 20 minutes when these 2 chaps walked right through. I observed and nobody stopped them. I told the chaps that they needed to wait in line but they weren't bothered.

Apparently if you wanted a table on the patio you could go in, but nobody bothered to advise my friend and I of that option.

I got really frustrated because I was very hungry and this is when Fortunate came along and whilst venting to her she simply just walked off, took a couple of menus and presented them to other customers.

I was so disgusted I phoned the owner on the spot whose phone was on voice mail.

I will be sending him a very long email.
