  Recessed from the busy Chartwell Strip, Angelo's has the benefit of prime location without the pitfall of the bustle that comes with it. A cosy restaurant with a classic Italian menu, perfect for a long lunch or lingering dinner. Their pizza is ultra thin based and light with generous quality toppings; pasta servings are hearty. The Vesuvio pasta (bolognaise with cream and chilli) was unforgettable!

  Had a fantastic late lunch here today. The service was great and the food was great. The Sorrento platter as a starter for a few people is a must. The pastas and line fish for mains were also very good. Nice decor and nice ambiance. The prosecco on tap is also a nice touch and the prosecco cocktail was nice and different.

  Had the most disappointing main while I've been in umhlanga, asked for seafood risotto and it was more like a seafood rice soup

  Had a wonderful meal of fresh Dorado (fish) with roasted vegies. Always delish at Angelo's. Been going for years and it never fails to please.

  Great food, catered well to the Durban crowd. Decor is upmarket at tasteful, and the food is good. I really enjoyed my chicken.
