The food and the service was brilliant.Only don't try to go there without a booking it is packed every day.Only 1 thing there that I didn't like was the prawn rissois.

Racist place. They gave us the wrong order after we ordered 45 mins before hand. There were no waiters to attend to us. The place is 98% white. The manager (all managers are white and all waiters are black) will only greet you if you are white. He can to check on all tables but conveniently skipped our table. Will not return until this place takes on a more cosmopolitan feel. The more things change, the more they stay the same!

A great venue to go for a full meal or just a couple of drinks on the second floor deck. There is an area that is modelled after a boat. Quite a treat. Lots if tabkes. Ni waiting. The food is fantastic and excellently presented. The staff are very helpful and professional. Perfect fir the entire family. A minute from the beach.

We went for my 60th birthday lunch today. I was last at this restuarant for my 50th. As you can see a bit of a tradition! How sorely dissappointed we were. We ordered line fish of the day and it was probably the most boring plate of good I have had the misfortune to eat. No garnish no thought and dry.
No love of food on a plate. The same sauce was used for chicken dish , dry as well, as for fish dish.. there was supposed to be coconut somewhere but I don't know where. Then the cherry on the top was the drilling. Hammering and bashing noises that went with the building operations going on. My 70th I think I'll go for oyster on the deck at Salt Rock Hotel, which is still grand and glorious. I won't be back sadly to Mozambik.

Really great service, family friendly. Clean and secure play area for kids and they serve the best kiddies milkshakes 💙Food was good and can recommend the restaurant for a laid back family meal.

This is, by far, my most favourite restaurant for dinner across South Africa. The food, the vibe, the service - outstanding! Just sums up the relaxed Durban atmosphere and chilled people perfectly. Will keep coming back here. Tip: try the calamari main with Mash, probably the best meal I have ever eaten.

Amazing service from waiter, my son insisted on pizza and when I asked the waiter if they served pizza she told me no but that my husband can order pizza from domino's downstairs and she will fetch it to specially plate it for him. Now that is what I call excellent service!!!!! The food was delicious. Loved the livers and the calamari. Thank so much for the experience will def come back!

Disgusting behaviour from the staff. The manager tried to control them but if youre heading here after 7:30 be ready for shoddy service followed by rudeness. The waiter almost stabbed my arm, by mistake, with a knife and then didnt accept our tip which was 8%. Stay away theres better places like "The Boat-House" and lastly we paid R30 for a cider of which the going rate is R21!!!

A great place to go for seafood, with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

The calamari and chourico starter is an absolute winner, and something I order every time I eat here.

The prawns are always tasty, be sure to order some chips to soak up all the sauce! If seafood isn't your thing, give the Mozambican steak a go, very decent steak!

Amazing little restaurant. I had the Half chicken and prawn combo, the prawns were certainly the highly. Massive queen prawns perfectly marinaded and grilled. The peanuts served on arrival is a great touch!
