Good selection of animals. Knowledgeable staff. Place stinks beyond belief, so much so it's impossible to browse. Get what you need and go!

I love this place. There is an amazing variety of fish, reptiles, insects and arachnids! Also i used to buy mealworms at a place in hampstead but i started coming here, and recently i bought mealworms here AND THERE WAS LIKE 100 instead of the 50 it said it had!!! Amazing service, and the animals are adorable! My leopard gecko Spotty is happy because of you!

They tell me I'm one of their top buyers for mice. Always very good help and very polite and friendly people. The only good pet store around I'd say 😎😉

We had gone there with out any expectations but, it was really pleasant surprise for us. They got a huge collection of reptiles. We could see and also touch most of zoo creatures there. Its definitely a great experience for the kids. This is really a must visit place in this area. we had not got that excited when visited other big zoo's in New England area. FIVE STARS for you guys!!

The store has great variety of fish, birds, reptiles etc, however, every time I have gone in there to purchase some fish, and which they have Many to choose from, I get hesitant because I have noticed numerous dead fish in the tanks every time I’m in there.and just today, I was looking at the spiders and there seem to be a decaying spider (3rd or 4th shelf down from the top) which makes me think they don’t pay much attention and check the animals and tanks frequently!!
There was also a dead cray fish in one of the tanks (1st one on the left) I will still go there because, like I said they do have a great variety, but to me it makes my choices limited only because of how often I see dead fish in the tanks and I’m not talking about a fish JUST dying.. you can tell it’s been there for while because of the decaying of the bodies!

I really want to give Zoo Creatures/NERD 5 stars. I do like this place a lot, and I will happily change my review to 5 stars if they improve a little bit. However, they have far too many animals and not enough employees. I have seen many empty water dishes, mold in tubs, and other cleaning issues. Additionally, they utilize volunteers where there should be actual paid positions. A for-profit business should not have to rely on volunteers. That said, the real employees are extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with. I appreciate what NERD does for the reptile community and education.

I used to love this place but am now opting to go to Hampstead for crickets. Kevin the owner is great but the help there is absolutely terrible. Workers don't seem happy to be there and are just plain rude!!

This place is amazing. They offer a tour for $8 where you can see all the wonderful animals and reptiles they breed. The tour guide was bursting with knowledge and his main message was so important for both children and adults: if you see a while animal, leave it alone. It's not there to harm you and just wants to be left alone.

Great selection of reptile supplies and food. The inside looked a little dirty, but when you take into account the sheer number of animals that are being taken care of, the place is actually pretty clean. I've seen many pet supply stores with deplorable conditions for the animals, so it was nice to see one that provides the animals with the proper space needed for comfort. I spoke with one of the employees, and she was out and about with a rabbit, giving it time out of it's cage, which was really nice to see.

The employees here are AMAZING!!! The many times that I've gone here, just to see the incredible amount of animals they have (ESPECIALLY their male Turkey, Wart. He acts tough but he's a big baby that loves people!) they're amazingly "over-the-top" friendly and helpful! I could go on for AGES about how great this place is but it wouldn't even come CLOSE to getting the point across. Do yourself a favor and go here. Like, now. Today. You'll see what I mean when you get there!

hands down the best pet store ever! Nothing like petsmart or petco. They take great care of the animals and they go out of there way to help! They are very educated about there animals.
