Small, but quiet. Pack a lunch, bring a blanket, and let the kids run around the fort by the water. Limited options otherwise

Great historically accurate fort on an active coast guard station. Fun to look at over harbor and picture life a couple hundred years ago. Stay on the blue path as you walk out to the fort. You have to walk past a high security gate down roads that don't seem obviously anywhere close to destination,but you get to see something from a past erra.
