  This park has an idyllic location on the Merrimack River and provides for a number of options for kids through adults to enjoy themselves. It would be helpful if the entirety of the park structure were enclosed within a fence, rather than just the toddler park, but overall this is a really good option for an hour or two of free time.

  Nice bathroom facilities, playground, boat launch and the best place to view the Yankee homecoming fireworks from.

  Cashman Park is a really great place. The recent renovation has added bathrooms to a great location. Right on the river you can look at boats, watch the bascule bridge operate, watch a ballgame on the fields. Not to mention there is a really nice boat launch to the Merrimack, and the playground, which is also clean, well-maintained and offers excellent shade. At the foot of the rail trail it also offers quick access to other parts of the city including the train station.

  We love taking the Harbor trail boardwalk to the open leash free dog park area and you are overlooking the Merrimac river. Beautiful park area.

  Great place for us as we have a dog and a young son. Both can run around and play. Playground is clean and safe for multiple ages and is right beside the off leash area for the dogs. View is great too as it is right in the water

  Great views of Newburyport and the Merrimack River. A good place to fly a drone for aerial photography. Lots of open space and green lawns

  This place is beautiful. Came from Texas to visit my in-laws and I had a blast. I would love to live in this area.

  Great place to bring kids of all ages, from crawlers on up. Several structures, including a low area for crawlers and beginning walkers.
