I had Just posted a review from my dads account and now I want to lost on mine so the community knows my opinion, a city boy who knows food well, and writes many reviews around.

When I came to this place, saw the community and the environment and thought. I think I'm going to like this place.

    I was wrong.

I couldn't be more dissapointed. The sandwich was not good. Nothing was fresh and felt like the mean, toppings and bread were out of code. Meaning that they should have thrown it out on the 12 of October, but today's the 17th. (I saw the sticker that said expired and a few of their deli meats. I look for these things when I go to a new place.)

I also bought a red skin potato salad. Usually I love potato salad but this seemed mislabeled. It tasted only like onion. I took one bite and couldn't bare it. I had to spit it out and throw them in the garbage.

I will never come back here.

Get ready for a real review:
I came here because my mom suggested this place when we were hungry. I'm not from Michigan and don't know of many places. So we came here.

From the looks of it, its a good quality place. Nice people, clean, organized, lots of customers coming in and out.

I was originally going to give this place 2 stars, then i ate the food I bought. I came and got 3 sandwiches, 3 different ones, and I couldn't be more dissatisfied. I expected a Gourmet sandwich, fresh ingredient, fresh bread and the whole mile. I received none of that. Ill go more into detail.

The bread was not fresh. few days old. Not to the point where its so hard i cant eat it, but hard enough that its hard to eat. The meat, you know, from the environment, I expect quality sandwich like you get at a place like Jimmy Johns, or those other places that slice the meat in front of you when they make your sandwich, however this specific sandwich was less quality than you get at subway. It had a slim smell to its meat which leaves me to believe that the meat was either on its last day to be served or maybe a day past. I know this because I am manager at a deli, meat, and bakery. I know how things should be. And after coming here, I'll not be coming back.

For those reading this. Go to Kroger. You can expect better quality than this place.

Excellent Amish food both in the bakery deli bulk foods or in the grocery area. Nice indoor and outdoor seating. This is a great destination. Always fresh food direct from the farm . Plus always like the fritters reflect what is fresh and in season.

Tomato basil soup and ham and cheese panini were amazing. Will be taking home cookies and Apple pie also! Had a full line of spices, baking supplies and soup mixes! Lots of pickles and relish items and other local made soaps, candles and other textiles.

Great spot for Amish homemade goodies like breads, pie, cookies, desserts. Nice pricing on deli meats and cheeses. Assortment of hot food served each day. This is "the" spot to get your goodies for a week at the lake. Service is spectacular.

So many good things, I don't even know where to start! The donuts have their own delicious reputation. They sell tons of home goods and gifts. Yoder popcorn, pies, salad bar, deli, donuts, mugs, tea towels, place mats, fruits veggies, preserves, butters, spices. I could keep going.

    One word: donuts.

Seriously though, they've got a great selection of deli products, prepared foods, fresh jams, bulk seasonings and nuts, breads. It's a great little market.

I love this place. The people are very friendly and the food is great especially the doughnuts. My only complaint is that the donuts aren't re stocked after they run out of better kinds

It's such a lovely little place with lots of goodies. Giant donuts, delicious ribs, assortment of cheeses, a coffeemaker, etc. The prices are also so very economic for compared to the quality! The people who work there are also quite friendly, patient, and have pleasant dispositions.
The journey to this place is lovely as well, and I will most definitely return to this place in the summer, but on a motorcycle to ride in the scenic areas Michigan always has to offer.

Excellent atmosphere. A very home-country feel. This is a great option for lunch as they have hot meals, fresh soups, cold subs, and an amazing salad bar; all for a great price. Many of the products offered for sale are prepared fresh daily. Fresh baked breads, donuts and cookies are among some of the better treats offered here. Definitely worth the drive for a good meal.
