Decent room, had all the basic amenities. Breakfast was lacking in the hot department. Was there for 3 weeks and the "hot" food was barely warm-and I would be in the dining area when it opened. The hotel is in a good location and close to lots of stuff to do.
Don’t book at this hotel. The photos online looked nice but the hotel in real life is a far cry. The hotel is dark and old. I walked in the guest entrance and was greeted with the laundry room and all it’s glory. It was as if I was entering a sweat shop. The carpet was old and coming up. The interior is grey and dreary as if I was entering mausoleum. Plain pathetic.
I have stayed here twice now. For the affordable rates, it’s a pretty decent deal. The lobby and the bar area is really nice. They have a pretty decent breakfast buffet in the morning, and the rooms are clean and have comfortable beds. We have had good stays both times we stayed here and would stay here the next time we need to be in north Dallas.
My husband and I stayed for two nights and really enjoyed our stay. It was a great value for our money. The fitness room was nice and had everything you could want. We didn't use the outdoor pool, since it was cool out, but would be a nice amenity in the warmer weather. Overall, we were very happy with our stay!
This hotel is surprising to say the least! From the exterior you can't help but assume the this older building probably doesn't exceed even low expectations, but then you walk inside and everything changes. The hotel has a very modern and upscale feel after a recent remodeling. This place is impressive!
Stayed for 4 days for business training. This hotel has some pretty unique style. Clean rooms, friendly service, and better then average food. I would definitely consider staying here again.
I attended the Adult Prom Gatsby Themed. The parking lot could use more light. The lobby, restaurant, bar area and pool are well decorated. Love the decor. Big chairs, drapes LED decorative lighting.
I can tell the rooms are dated and since Im a chief engineer i notice maintenance issues. I can tell the ac wasnt able to keep up with the demand of the party as well as worn carpets and several other items. Overall it was a fun night. Ill be coming back for a full feel of the property to stay the night. Still a very fun night.
Carpets throughout entire building are filthy. I didn’t want to step on the carpet in my room with bare feet. They have updated the lobby but done nothing in the rooms. Breakfast was expensive and not good. Cold food, poor service. One of the nights staying they had an adult prom event. All areas closed off to all other guests. Attempting to set up airport transportation while this event was happening and front desk staff was rude. I would not stay again.
Best thing about this hotel is the decor! Feels like another world, I love it. Almost fairyland-like oversized furniture, big jewels and bedazzlement everywhere, fun lighting. My understanding is that the decor is supposed to change (I guess it used to be a different hotel and it's in the process of changing) so come see it while you can!
The hotel hallways smell mildewy and the bathroom has stains in the toilet and bathtub. However, the beds are nice and soft and the bartender was nice and funny. I think his name was Rito. Even though he was the only one working the entire bar area with more than 20+ people at one point, he made time to ensure the three in my group still received quality service by ensuring he got to know our names and making jokes. Whether this was policy or just his customer service, he remembered out names when we came back the next time. The swimming pool area is exceedingly nice. The cabanas make it seem like you have privacy, even though there may be plenty of people out there. I just wish the bathrooms were nicer.
Love this hotel, I have been going there for the Rebekah Leah Rivera foundation event for 3 years and for a wedding reception. Absolutely wonderful and unique, not to forget the awesome staff. Definitely recommend this place.
I enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Totally modern decor. Pool area one of the nicest places I have been. Very large rooms. Picture is of the cabanas around the pool area
Was put here by American Airlines when they cancelled my flight to Madrid. The main room of the hotel is a big nightclub/lounge area decorated with the most bizarre rhinestone-studded orange and gold couches and seats. Room overlooked this room. No windows to the outside world. One of the most depressing places. Only people there in the 'club' looked like gangsters. I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because I was able to sleep using earplugs and didn't hear doors slamming. Also the staff was friendly and the full breakfast (not the one you get with a voucher) was good. My advice is to stay away from this hotel. And American Airlines.
It's a fancy place to spend a night at, the crew is awesome!
I liked the bar, they have multiple choices and great bartenders!!
Located in a quiet area so u won't hear any cars noise or anything like that!
my only concern in the coffee machine in the room! I don't know if it's the water or they just don't clean it after the last person has used it!
We were put up here because American Airlines cancelled our flight. The room was old and the bathroom was older. At the time we didn't care.. We only wanted a bed to lay out angry heads. If you need a safe house and your trying to lay low and off the grid this is your hotel. Funny enough the lobby and restaurant was beautiful. Also had a huge pool that looked as for a music video. Strange where they spent the hotel money. Good luck
