Clean, large rooms. Friendly staff. Close 15 minute drive to Disney world. When I had a problem with the door reader security was there in less than 3 minutes to help us in. Free WiFi speed was pretty slow but acceptable. Throttling speed is a poor option in my opinion but I understand the need to drive additional revenue. Overall for the price and location the hotel is phenomenal.
Decent amount of room for the kitchen. Great bathroom setup. TV setup for entertainment is out-dated. Was able to adjust the temperature of the room easily.
We have stayed a few places but the 2 bedroom deluxe was beautiful. Property is nice too. I am not a fan of the $125 hold on my card when I prepaid but I'll definitely come back.
The check in area was in the midst of a complete remodel. It was gutted and there were only tables with staff checking everyone in. The elevator locations were quite confusing to locate. The suite was extremely generous in size and completely clean. Unfortunately there was a terrible "hotel" smell throughout the unit. I'm not sure if you would call it mildew or why you get that odor in some less upscale hotels. The premises seemed to have many very nice amenities, but we didn't have a chance to use them.
Very nice facility. Pool was awesome. Rooms very clean. Great location. I will definitely go back.
I recently stayed here for a short getaway birthday weekend, and I’m extremely picky with rooms. I don’t read reviews before, because of the fact that , there is always a but or if for everyone. My experience was completely satisfying, check in was fast and very nice even tho it was late night, all staff had a smile on their face. Room very clean and the surroundings as well. Definitely would stay here again!!!!
Pretty nice. Staff have been friendly and helpful. Pool is nice. Only reason I didn't give it 5 is lack of gated entry. I prefer places with more security.
We got sucked into a timeshare presentation. The hook was, "Wyndham is too big and too high quality to deal in high pressure sells. It will be 90 minutes or less, listen attentively, keep an open mind, and at the end of it all if you're not interested, no problem." Wrong So wrong. 3 hours later I finally had to get rude because we had then told 3 people no thanks! What a crock Then the "gift" we were promised had so many restrictions we couldn't use it for what we were wanting in the first place! Sorry Cypress Palms but I'd crack down on the timeshare staff if you want to be considered for future stays
Warning ⚠️ Obviously fake Resort flying under the Wyndham Resort banner. My family and I have stayed at Wyndham Resort properties around the nation with nothing but great results up to this point. But, after the events on our latest vacation, we will look at alternatives in the future. I could write a novel regarding the dissatisfaction we faced, but I promise to keep it brief. Ghost ants swarmed the first unit we stayed in, ruining purchased groceries, etc. We contacted guest services and they sent maintenance to spray what I can only assume was sugar water because the treatment made the infestation even worse. After the failed extermination, they offered to move our family to a different unit. We had to pack all of our luggage, groceries, and move out of a great Resort location. The very next unit they showed us had the same ant problem in another building. Five units, four buildings, and an hour later they finally found an ant free unit. All I can really say at this point is I'm happy we are not time share owners locked into paying for these ant farms.
This is a wonderful experience for us, so far. We've only stayed over night one night, but we're very happy with the room and the entire grounds. They've thought of everything with a fully loaded kitchen. We bought groceries and plan on saving money eating as many meals at the room as possible instead of Disney.
The 1 bedroom/full kitchen was nice and spacious. The jacuzzi tub would randomly turn on in the middle of the night. Maintenance was no help concerning this matter. Just said to turn off breaker when not using. Their "activities" are lacking greatly. The workers act bored and uninterested. Have them go to Summer Bay Resort for activity training, would make a world of difference for people who don't go to Disney!
I was hesitant about reserving a room here, but upon arrival, my wife and I were blown away by not only the service provided, but also the quality of the room and hotel grounds. The staff helping us check in were exceptionally insightful! My wife and I did not have a car, so the supervisor Ryan, offered to take us to our room all the way across the grounds on their golf cart without hesitation. Upon getting to our room, Ryan walked us through it and ensure that everything was up to his standards and we knew exactly who to call should we need anything. Our room has a full kitchen with all cookware and eating utensils, a dishwasher, toilet and shower in one room, and a jacuzzi tub attached to the bedroom. There was also a nice screened in balcony with a decent view. There are also multiple restaurants within walking distance and even poolside service from one. I highly recommend this hotel /timeshare. Even more so if you're military. I paid $300 for 7 nights through the Armed Forces Vacation Club. My one and only "con" with this resort, is that our tub's power button for the jets in the Jacuzzi wasn't working so we had to turn it on and off from the breaker. 5/5
Rooms and location were great. Staff was quick to respond. We have stayed here before and would have given a 5 star, but there were a few issues with the room. Although corrected quickly they should not have happened
Another great stay at Wyndham Cypress Palms. Was in a newly renovated room and wow.. what a great job they did. The staff was super friendly from security, maintenance, and of course the great front desk team.
You can't go wrong staying here to visit all the Orlando area has to offer. Quiet laid back resort with plenty of dining options within minutes of the resort.
