Love this place . we love to sit along the road with feed in our hands as the deer come out around dusk to eat from your hands.

Had another great weekend of camping here. Saw lots of deer and turkeys. Site 50 was a great one. Deer right in our "backyard".

This is a great place to go hiking on the trails. We saw a couple of deer while we were hiking. You can also bring your dogs with you.

This park is very well maintained. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Great place to camp and fish. If you visit during the warmer months bring plenty of mosquito spray.

We came from Orlando and stayed a weekend. The park was anything but crowded. We felt as if we had the place to ourselves. The 1800s cow camp was cool, too.

Being an avid fisherman this is a great place to set up camp for an extended stay. Facilities are clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Boat ramp is in good condition. The wife and I spend at least one week a year here and it's normally where I launch on day trips. The store at the ramp has everything you forgot at home at least as far as personal hygiene goes. Cold drinks, ice and firewood. Enjoy your stay, I know we do.

Awesome park and camp ground. The observation tower was the peak of our home for the wife an I as we could see various types of wildlife from a top. The kids loved the park. Will return again.

This was a pleasant surprise, beautiful outdoor property. Places to camp and picnic/grill. Playground, trails, and a really cool older dude who has horses, cows and more that you must go visit!

Great place for hiking, but only recommend to hike during the cooler months of the year. Want to avoid crowds and enjoy nature? Then this park is for you. Excellent place to spot Bald Eagles, Red-headed Woodpeckers, Sandhill Cranes, Ospreys, Armadillos, Wild Boar, White-tailed Deer, Raccoons, and many other animals. As you hike, camp, and explore this state park, it's like stepping back in time to "Old Florida" before Disney and the many theme parks. Well worth your visit, but again strongly suggest visiting during cooler weather. I'm sure it's miserablely hot, hummid, and buggy in the summer. Make sure you check out the "Cow Camp." Enjoy your visit!

Love the park, the the cow camp. Nice trails, ready for the construction to be finished on the weir so we can get back to fishing next to it. Beautiful country drive to the park. Old Florida experience.
