Great camping very peaceful

tent or trailer camping area only. The only structure is a cinderblock outhouse. There is plenty of room for several tents. Parking is just pulling to the side of the gravel circular drive. Plenty of trees and a short hike to the lake. You need to have good directional skills to navigate the trails.

Very nice primitive camping area. The trail makes for a great hike. Be prepared for uneven rocky and moderate 4 mile hike thru the woods. There are some great views of the lake plus several campsites scattered along the trail on the waters edge or pretty close.

Good place but the Homeless have started living there. Leaving their dogs barking all day. Called Sherffis office and he said a bunch are living in the woods and then he left. but nothing is being done about it in the last year it is going down hill. They toilets were unusable except for those with the strongest if stomachs. We seen kids #pew outside them because it was impossible for them to hold their breath.

Nice free campground. Plenty hot in the summer, but there is running water and bathrooms so who is to complain.

A few years ago I would have given 5 stars but the trail has a lot of growth on it and seems to not get much attention in maintenance. A large section of the trail is chocked in weeds and poison ivy. Camp sites are still reasonably nice.

Nice free place to camp. There are some pretty campsites along the trail that offer seclusion for those willing to pack it in and out.

Easy to access hiking trails, with challenging hill climbs. Great pistol and rifle shooting ranges. This place is well maintained.

Lovely view! Stay on the trail as there are thorns in the near by area. Otherwise, it has amazing trails and great views. Highly recommend for a trail run or hike, if in the area.

Very cool spot to camp, we boated in to the far back camping spot . Well worth it if you have to hike.

Small little place out of the way with not too many people. There's a water spigot and some bathrooms and some neat camping areas.
