Great small lake to explore and fish. Nice variety of open and shaded spots and fish are usually pretty good about striking. Be sure to bring bug spray though, there are a lot of ticks in the area.

Small and quite lake with many fishing locations. Boat ramp and small dock. Also has a day use shelter house.

Good place to camp. Fishing is okay, bit there's thick weeds in the water in the summer and fall.

It's actually Lyon County State Lake not Lynn State Lake. Locals also call it Reading Lake. Was emptied and cleaned out in 2002 and is a very clean lake with lots of great access spots, a lot of great family memories here of camping and fishing. Very good catfish and bass, moderate but getting better on crappie.
