If you are looking for hip, cheap, Americanized hang out place for Korean food, this is not for you. If you are looking for Korean food done right with excellent service, look no further.
Loved everything!!!!!! Can't wait 2 go back
Authentic & classy place for Korean food. Personally I love their Galbi and Sashimi Bibimbab.
Hosted birthday party here for over 60 guests. Excellent service and great food! Would recommend to anyone hosting a party or event.
Definitely overpriced food. It’s not too authentic. Mediocre restaurant with not too pleasant staff.
This is my go to Korean restaurant in Tysons area. Price seems to be the biggest bad review. I've been to many BBQ places around NOVA but BBQ price is not much more than any other place. Typical price for rib BBQ is 35 bucks. Woo Lae Oak bonchan ( side dishes) is fresh and tasty!! Best Nangmyun. If you want to pay less, go to mediocre Annandale restaurant or all you can eat buffet. You get what you pay for. It's worth paying couple more dollars for great service at a clean place. It's up to par with Tysons facade.
Overly priced 3 slices of pork belly 23 dollars the quality of food wasn't good. I WILL never go there again
The food is good, but is definitely overpriced. Fancy Asian interior and good service.
Update: Went again for lunch and was pretty disappointed by the food, specifically the bibimbap. My friend's porridge was not cooked thoroughly. Would not go again.
Amazing experience over and over again. Woo Lae Oak has been my go-to Korean restaurant since I moved to D.C. in 2014. The signature cold noodles and spicy noodles are simply outstanding and goes extremely well with pork belly on the side.
They also offer so many side dishes that each stand out and also complement the main dishes.
Also, Juliana is always cheerful and very attentive! She definitely adds to the joyous atmosphere here!
I definitely recommend everyone to give this place a try!!
Woo Lae Oak is making a great comeback with both food and service! I noticed the taste in food right away when I came here for my nephews 1st Birthday today. It was perfect!!! Woo Lae oaks food was lacking the last few years and today it was amazing and when I asked if the chef had changed I was told the chef from many years ago was back.
Also, the party service attendant named, Juliana was beyond THE BEST! From the beginning to end she was 100% helpful, friendly, and attentive. She even went through the dumpster outside when my sister lost a crystal cake topper!!!!!!! Yes, she went through the trash outside the restaurant 3 hours after the party was over. I cannot speak more highly of this woman's integrity and service. 5 stars to the food and 10 stars to the management and service! And this is coming from someone who stopped going to Woo Lae Oak for a few years because of mediocre food and management. What a change!!! I will have to plan future date nights here now.
They have great Korean style meat dishes. Very good quality, only it's quite $$$$
Terribly overrated food and even worse service. The private room we were in was dirty and dilapidated
We always have a great meal here. A bit more pricey but the food is good, the service is great and it's clean and quiet.
