Dorian Brown recently stayed here while on tour and traveling with Ignite Hospitality Services and was very glad they did! The room was very comfortable and quiet, and the staff was top-notch! The hotel was very close to shopping and entertainment, and there was a free breakfast in the morning as well as a fitness room to use before hitting the road again!

Very nice stay and very friendly staff. Went there on a bus trip and when we got there, they had snacks laid out for us. The place is within walking distance of many restaurants and most of them will give you a discount because you're staying at the inn.

The Wingfield Inn and Suites in Elizabethtown is a nice quaint hotel located close to Louisville and right by plenty of good restaurants that you can get a discount at when you stay in the hotel. It has a small but nice and well-kept gym good for staying active on the road. The rooms are very well-kept and the beds are quite comfortable. The hotel also has a garden atrium by the pool which is very spacious and nice - a great place to spend some time if you're at the hotel but want to get out of your room for a bit. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very good hotel, but if pricing is added into consideration it's bumped on up to excellent. Nice large clean rooms with above average beds in the comfort department. Friendly helpful staff. The indoor pool/atrium was a pleasant surprise. I would recommend this place to others and I'll definitely be staying there myself when I return to the area. Tbh, the only reason that I would consider staying at a different hotel in Elizabethtown is if room availability is an issue.

My favorite hotel!!!! Rooms are HUGE! Bath tub was HUGE! Indoor swimming pool, AMAZING! And plants ARE real!! Staff was so nice! And not to mention, it's affordable! Breakfast was delicious with a big selection of food. They also have Dipping Dots! What other hotel can say that! Ha!!

Awesome staff! I have an electric car and the manager Todd was extremely helpful in making sure I was able to charge. The hotel itself is above average but the incredible staff make it an excellent choice. Will definitely be returning if I'm in the area.

It's an okay place for those who are on a budget. Breakfast buffet actually was pretty good. Overall cleanliness was what I rated 3/5. Not quite gross, but not clean either. We also both woke up with back pains. But the area is quiet and there is Texas's Roadhouse right next to the hotel, we had a great inexpensive dinner there. I probably will stop here again on my next trip.

Exceptional place to stay all around. Clean rooms, friendly staff, pool area very relaxing. Looking for a place to stay in walking distance to many restaurants and can also stay in an enjoy their breakfast lots to choose from. Looking for a relaxing get away will be highly satisfied.

Fascinating to go into the largest cave in the world. There aren't a lot of "pretty" cave features but this place is huge! I went on 2 long tours on the same day. One guide was great but the other one was a "close talker" and wouldn't speak up.

Reserved a handicapped room. Got an accessible room instead. The bed was the height of my hip. The toilet was at least usable. No walk in shower. Instead the tub was 14" high with a grab bar. The shower chair provided has a bent twisted leg. Staff was very helpful and apologetic. We arrived at 11:00 pm so we stayed because we were so exhausted. Checked out first thing in the morning after fake eggs and limp bacon. Won't be back any time soon.

Those rating this hotel anything above a 2 star must not travel often or know what a clean, smoke-free hotel is supposed to be like. The only thing that keeps the review from a 1 star is that the staff was helpful and apologetic about the smell of smoke emitting from the walls of this hotel. I do think they want to help and are extremely friendly. However the hotel is just old, mildew ridden and the walls are covered in smoke from when they allowed smoking. Also, if the hotel isnt 100% smoke free - no part of the hotel can be considered smoke free.

Not your typical hotel. Lovely property. Pool is heated. Would be a bit better if the atrium was warmer because of difference between pool and room temp. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. Staff is very helpful and receptive. Breakfast is above average for free hotel breakfast. They have free 24 hour coffee in the lobby. Was a great place to stay!

This place must have been something else back in 1985. I stayed here a few weeks ago, and suffice it to say the place is in need of some TLC. Like a faded Vegas casino, this hotel is a mildewed facade with a few ornamental upgrades that attempt to trick the mind of the weary traveler. The staff are nice/helpful enough and the breakfast was superb (the cook even took the time to visit my table and bid me "good morning"). It almost made up for the mold-spotted walls and loose shower fixtures in my bathroom, to say nothing of random pubes from former occupants. This is quality I expect from the $25 dollar a night roach motel down on the corner, not a $100 dollar per night facility with fountains and statues out front! I should have known better when I stumbled into the lobby, travel worn and cranky, to be welcomed by the pungent smell of stale carpet and chlorine. Again, the aura was of a 70's era casino or lounge, 30 years past its prime. But alas, I was misled. The whole truth hit me when I walked the dim halls to my room and then entered. When will hotel owners learn that applying a 50th layer of paint to the walls does not constitute an "upgrade"? The whole bathroom needed gutted and redressed. The room proper was tolerable, with a decent flat-screen TV, microwave and fridge (the aforementioned "ornaments"), but nothing one couldn't find, say, at a Super8. The beds were rather fancily dressed, with some placard on the bedspread about "green linens". Again, fine, but only so much powder/rouge on an unwashed face. My chief compliant with the sleeping area was the odor, which was akin to damp unwashed socks. The only remedy is to blast the AC all night, so instead of perishing from stench, one is threatened with hypothermia. You can't keep the window open, at least on the ground floor, because there is no screen (who wants to swallow flies and mosquitoes all night?). But seeing how the metal window was 70's vintage with little/no upkeep, good luck with even getting it to open. Overall, Wingfield Inn and Suites needs to go back to the basics as far as cleaning and general maintenance are concerned (the light fixtures over the breakfast bar had about an inch of dust on them). Also, the management/owners need to admit that it's time for a significant remodel/upgrade, especially in the bathroom area. I do not think it an exaggeration to say they are cheating their customers. Upgrade or lower your prices please.
