The pool is always an interesting experience. Especially the one foot deep outdoor one.

For those who travel to Wilkesboro, just a heads up that the day fee is PRICEY $10 for a weight room/cardio area that is the size of an apartment complex gym (I'm not talking about the basketball court, pool, etc.). I am comparing this to the Gold's that I work for that is $16.24 for a day pass- that is a beautiful, brand new, and 10 times bigger than this. If your in town for a few days, I would recommend heading to a full-sized gym called "New Life" at 1985 NC-16, Millers Creek, NC 28651. The guy who owns it is such a sweet heart!

Really helpful staff! Almost comprehensive gym and pool. Membership charges are pretty nominal. The pool maintenance could have been done better but considering the low occupancy it is alright.
