The staff behind the counter was very rude and weren't willing to give me any options for returning the bottle I had purchased an hour earlier. I spoke with the same associate who sold me the bottle and they told me I could not get a refund and to "Go ahead and get on out of here". I was not asked to show my license at the time of purchase or at the time I tried to exchange/return it. The sales associates in Banner Elk are much more professional, they carded me at the time of my return and asked me if I would prefer a gift card or to get the return in cash. The post office is nicer than the staff at the Boone ABC store.

Just about what you'd expect from any decent ABC store. The staff is friendly and the selection is good.

Whether you are a student or a local or even a tourist. If you need hard liquor for the best price, you have to come here. Since its a college town the staff are super friendly and where else can you get rum this cheap.
