The florist was really kind and interrupted helping another customer with a larger issue to put together a last minute boquet (customer was totally cool with it). The flowers were great and my girls loved them.

Top notch service from this lady EVERY TIME!!! She cares about the flowers and the customer is is extremely good at her arrangements they are always breath taking beautiful. She has gotten me through many a funeral and weddings. Thank you!

JoAnne provided beautiful arrangements for our wedding in July! Like the girl said below, she was able to get my vision even when I seemed indecisive and had a hard time articulating what I wanted. We received many compliments and overall loved what she put together.
The reason I gave 4/5 stars was because I had a hard time reaching her through email (I wasn't able to talk on the phone 9-5pm) and I never felt 100% confident I knew what I was going to get on my big day. She pulled through no doubt, but as a bride managing 7+ vendors it made me feel uneasy.response / report this review -

JoAnne at White Orchid was fantastic to work with. We were planning a wedding from Washington, DC and she was easy to work with, flexiable, understanding and after talking with us knew exactly what we were looking for. She was willing to work within a budget and gave us superlative results. The flower arrangements and boquets were perfect. She knows her flowers and what works well and what does not. Joann did absolutely beautiful work for my wedding in June 2017. She was easy to work with along the entire process and knew how to tease out of me what I truly wanted or didn't want. She knew what flower swaps to make to make our budget work with our floral needs. My bouquet and my bridesmaids' bouquets were the most beautiful I'd ever seen! The centerpieces on the tables were perfect as well. White Orchid came recommended to me and I would highly recommend this shop to anyone getting married in Bloomington.

I walked in the store with no idea what to do for my wedding flowers and Joanne was able to answer all the questions. I like that she cared about the details of the wedding, e.g., wedding dress color, room setting, etc. and helped me customize the arrangement. We decided to use just simple red roses for everything and it was beautiful and elegant. Joanne delivered the flowers and loaned us the vases. I would recommend this place. I feel like they can be trusted and among all the pieces I had to deal with for the wedding this part was the easiest because of the way they do business.

Joanne has so much knowledge! When deciding a florist for my December wedding I went to several places in Bloomington and they all said they could do whatever I wanted, until I came to White Orchid. I know nothing about flowers, and when I started showing Joanne pictures of what I was thinking, she advices me about what I should and shouldn't use so that my flowers would look wonderful all day long. She created the most beautiful bouquets and boutonnières I have ever seen, and they lasted for longer than just my wedding day!

My husband and I are currently stationed in Maryland, but were getting married in Bloomington, IN. Joanne had an extremely wide knowledge base about flowers and what would work well with each other. With only 3 months to plan a wedding, she had wonderful prioritization and an enormous amount of flexibility as well; she even modified our centerpieces the day before the wedding! They were very prompt with everything and the bouquet and centerpieces looked PHENOMENAL! Great job guys! Highly recommend them if you are in the area!

Joanne was referred to me by my MOH (who was referred to her by her sister) and going with her services was one of the best decisions I made during my entire wedding planning process! My only regret is that I didn't contact her sooner!
Joanne not only has the knowledge of flowers necessary for her job, BUT what I found that set her apart from everyone else, is that she has a background in fine arts and an eye for design (which I definitely am lacking)! She helped me figure out what flowers, colors, centerpieces, dresses, and decorations would help tie everything together and communicate the big picture that I had in mind for my wedding.
If what you want is a wedding that is piecemeal-ed together through pinterest pictures, Joanne might not be the best fit for you. However, if you have an idea of the "big picture" that you want your wedding to convey, Joanne has the knowledge, skill, and eye for design to help you fill in the details.
Joanne was great to work with, extremely reasonably priced, communicable, and her work was beautiful! I can't recommend her highly enough!response / report this review -

Joanne is the best! Extremely helpful and friendly, she delivered my flowers to the venue and gave me advice on how to keep them fresh. I ordered hydrangeas in the middle of summer, so I ordered 2 of my bridal bouquets as Joanne advised they would wilt in the heat. My bouquets were beautiful and she has excellent customer service. I highly recommend her for any Bloomington area floral needs.
