We got a great deal on AirBnB. This however is a time share and I can't imagine buying in. The shuttles start late, end early, are booked full days in advance. The food options on site are a joke. If i had kids, i think the water park would be nice, but i wouldn't come here for that kind of attraction. The Jacuzzi tub in the room fills up slow, but is well worth the wait! The kitchen is stocked with just enough of everything. Just remember, this is not a hotel, l don't effect anyone to make your bed or wash your dishes.
Resort is very nice. They have a water park sort of pool for the kids and lots of other amenities not to mention proximity to theme parksand they do run shuttles! The restaurant on the premises is also pretty reasonable. Eat a big breakfast here do you don't get hungry in the parks.very expensive food at Disney, mgm, universal etc.
Do yourself a big favor and just visit this place. It is a very nice place to vacation. BUT, do not buy into the timeshare scam. If you buy a timeshare the very first day you own it it will be worth nothing to anyone but you. You will have to pay maintenance fees forever and when you find that your life situation no longer is compatible with the timeshare that not only can you not sell it you will have to pay them to give it back to them. WHAT A SCAM!
I am a less government and regulations person but the timeshare industry is one that needs way more regulations placed on them. There needs to be an equitable way to sell/return a timeshare to the timeshare company!
Great experience!!!
The front desk clerks were very polite and kindness, the room service attendant was helpful and friendly.
The room was wonderful just as expected, and it's a Must Use of the whirlpool bathtub. It's so relaxing.
It was amazing entertaining for the children the water park & also amazing structure for the lazy river on the second floor. I will definitely come back again and again!!!
If you want a relaxing vacation stay as far away from this place as possible. Over an hour to check in and 2+ hours to wait to just get into my room ending with a disappointing hour drive back home with a refund. If you have issues getting into your room and they say security is on the way, save yourself the trouble I went through and just get a refund. There's far better hotels in the area. I waited all that time and spoke to multiple people at the lobby and I couldn't even get into my room. The most helpful person was the manager and that was because I needed a refund. It's not a great vacation waiting outside in the cold past midnight. I strongly advise you stay away from here the facility looks compelling but their customer service needs a serious overhaul. Never going here again, I strongly advise you do the same.
I would not recommend this place. So far we got stuck in the elevator and had to call someone to get us out, then the electric goes out over the whole place for over 2 hours, and went off and on 2 times again last night. If you are a guest, you have to pay $20 each per day to go in the water park, and the charge $9.99 A DAY, if you want to use WiFi. The restaurant and shops here are WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. Highly overrated. The rooms are very outdated, our dryer has paint chipping off. When we went to a sales meeting, the guy was nice at first, then when we said we needed time to think about it, he refused to let us leave, and got nasty. We never got free passes to the water park and after all the extra expenses here, who can afford $20 per person per day? If you are a guest, you pay for everything! Do not believe all of the hype!
I cannot say enough about this resort. It is unbelievably fantastic in every way. Your comfort is absolutely #1. Their staff is nice, helpful, and AAA+. I came home telling friends and family what a terrific resort this is. NO I didn't attend a timeshare thing. I'm a Floridian. I was there 6 days and wanted to live there lol.
Normally I would give this place five stars, but I have had problems with the washer and dryer in two separate rooms and the sheets were stained when I arrived. Aside from the recent issues the place is great. There is an on-site water park equipped with lazy river, water slides, kids sections and full bar. They have decent tennis and basketball courts as well as a soccer field. The rooms are spacious and open concept.
Nice place. Beware of the sales staff. Know what you are doing. If you are interested in a time share do your research before hand. There are more annual expenses than just the purchases. We own but would never do it again. Once you own it is nearly impossible to sale. It's even hard to give it away. BEWARE!
Love Westgate Town Center, we've been coming here every year for just about 21 years. I've seen this place get better and better every year! We're excited to see what is improved next!
When we checked into our room our dishwasher didn't work properly, I called the front desk and 15 minutes later a maintenance man was there to look at the dishwasher. He was unable to repair it and told us he would be right back. Maybe 30 minutes later he returned with a brand new dishwasher and replaced it. All this at 8:30 pm. Very impressed with the speed of the service and friendly maintenance staff!
Never AGAIN!!!!! We were coaxed into going to West Gate for a timeshare. We had no idea that get would keep us there for 3 and a half hours, trying to sell us.. After we said no they got someone else to try and sell us a timeshare, after we said no a second time, they sent a third person over. This was by far the worst experience!! Lemme save u the trouble!! These are over priced timeshare, and they target minorities who have NO money to buy them.. You will end up paying 60k for a vacation home u can only use one 1 week out of the year.. Don't do it!
If it wasn't for the tour, I would rate this place a 5 star resort. The pools are a plenty. The activities are awesome. The views are beautiful. The rooms are amazing. But the 2 hour tour ALWAYS becomes 6 to 8 hours long.
Been coming here for 11 years. They add to it every year. The water park is a lot if fun for the kids. Great lazy river and slides with fun bars on the edge to enjoy. Room are nice with good views. We come every 2 years.
The service at this location was amazing. Super friendly and super helpful. The rooms were really nice. Beds we comfortable and the layout was nice. The on site restaurant was fun and we'll priced. The food and drinks were good for the money. The on site convenience store was also extremely convenient. Not having to drive out onto I-4 looking for a place to buy stuff made the night. All in all a great place to vacation.
I found Westgate Town Center Resort and Spa to be in an easy and accessible location and very near Disney World. In fact, at night you can view and hear the fireworks show nightly at 9 p.m. at Disney World from the resort. When I arrived I was warmly welcomed by helpful staff that guided my every step. The rooms were immaculate and beyond my expectations. When I called the front desk they were very helpful and knew who I was without me announcing it. Every question I had was easily answered. The pool nearest my was right outside my back door. The only issue I had with that the DVD player supplied had no fast forward button by design. I cannot speak to the resort restaurant and food because I did not participate in it. Nor did I participate in any resort activities because I had other scheduled plans throughout the week day. Although I did not get to any of them, I was looking forward to viewing Disney movies in the theater at no additional cost.
