April 2017, I drove to West Jefferson to buy a 2004 GMC Sierra that only had 82,000 miles. I was told by the sales manager that truck had over $2000 worth of repairs done including changing the brakes lines. Last week my brakes went completely out while driving. I had to go through a stop light on red, blessing nothing was coming the other way. I took my truck to my mechanic and found out I have mutiple leaks in my brake lines. My brake lines and fuel lines are completely rusted. My mechanic told me he is concerned about working on the truck because there is so much rust he is afraid of what might brake trying to fix all the issues. The dealership had "blacked" the truck underneath covering all the rust. I now realize the sales manager told me about changing the lines (particularly when I never asked) because they knew there was a problem and figured I would not question or check, which I did not, so that is my fault for trusting a dealer. I called the dealership and was told and I quote "you did buy a 2004 truck from the mountains." Very true, but never thought a reputable dealer would sale a truck in that condition. It's my fault I should have had the truck inspected by an outside mechanic, but thought I could trust a reputable Chevrolet dealer. I was reminded by them that they fixed a check engine light. The light came on while I was test driving it. It was a sensor. They only fixed it because they knew I would not buy with it on. Beware of buying used at West Jefferson Chevrolet. Your families safety could be at risk.

I wasn't able to get off work until late and was held up in traffic. You would not have known it was close to the service department's closing time as they stayed and worked with me until we had come up with a resolution.

The experience I had at West Jefferson chevorlet was great.i called about a truck on a Saturday afternoon about 2:30 and was wanting to come look at truck ,they close at 4pm on Saturday, i was 2hrs away.andrew the salesman said he would wait on me.I got there about 4:40 pm,there was Andrew and two other guys waiting on me.i test drove the truck and loved it,had not planned on keeping them guys long,but they got right on dealing with me on purchase of the truck after closing,I left there at 7:30 with my new truck.i enjoyed dealing with them,it's hard to find people to go out of their way to help people.i would recommend dealing with them to others and dealing with them again.i want to thank Andrew and the other guy,whose name I forgot for staying and putting me in my new truck,thanks guys.

If you are looking to purchase a new or preowned vehicle then West Jefferson Chevrolet is the best place to shop. The staff are wonderful, knowledgeable and happy to help. I purchased a 2015 GMC Terrain and it was the best experience I have ever had with a car dealership. No pressure, no hassle they treated me like family. JD went out of his way to make sure we got the best deal available. He followed up with me until we were ready to make the purchase. I can't thank them enough for all they done to make my buying experience the best ever!
