Cabin was really quite nice. Service was great. The locks on the cabin and hot tub room were broken. Couldn't get into the hot tub room at all. They don't want you in the main lodge if you are in a cabin - it is just for lodge guests. DVD's are free to borrow and there is a small tv in the cabin. The bed was really uncomfortable, hard and lumpy. I'd stay again, maybe bring some advil for mornings after sleeping on those beds - but the views and cabin overall rate 4 stars.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating of our late arrival. We loved the canvas tents. It was awesome that they provided the first bundle of wood, matches, and starter paper. The tent has a queen bed and a futon that can become a second bed or stay as a couch. They have extra bedding in the trunk, as well as towels, a couple flashlights, and a table. They also provided hot water bottles to heat up the bed - it was so awesome we just ordered our own for the winter months! Even though it was a little pricey, it was a great experience that I highly recommend!

Nice facilities. Stayed in the cabins and had access to the lake house. Beautiful grounds with a decent camp store. Good access to other areas on the island.

My new favorite getaway. Host's were gracious. Property was beautiful but could have used some more landscaping. Hard to do on such a big property though. We didnt spend much time at the resort but the time we did spend was well worth the investment.

I talked my husband into going glamping, at $250 a night, I was sure he would love a "camping" experience. We got in very early from our ferry ride and they told us check in was not until four, but not to worry they would phone if our tent was available earlier. We ended back there around two to find out that the tent was ready, no one had phoned. Then we found out that the lodge lobby with a beautiful fireplace burning & sofas closes at five and no one is on entire premises. The next day the temperature has dropped 20° to around 52° it was so cold we either had to stay in bed or go to town, which we did. We got home around 5:30 and I decided to try to get into the lodge so we can at least read books by the fire, it was locked tight no one in site. We ended up leaving and finding a room for the night , this is not Glamping like I know, just a multitude of nice tents around the lake, you are on your own. No one even asked us if we needed anything else, we will not be back!!

Campground had even more amenities than listed. Beautiful and serene. I would go 5 stars if the bathrooms were a touch larger and families could operate together somehow, for instance have a lockable door where you could use showers as a unit and workout the details amongst yourself and the desk closes kind of early in the evening, but my package had all the info I needed for night 1.

Stayed in room 9 in the lodge. Room smelled like old cigarette smoke that was clearly trapped in the carpet. Otherwise, very clean and fireplace is nice touch. No air conditioning in the lodge but was fine with sleeping with windows open. Walls are paper thin. Heard snoring on one side, about 45 mins of sex on the other, and a couple people having an argument beneath me. Staff was amazing and attentive. It was ok, but probably wouldn't stay again.
