Let’s see, I went to them for help when I still had my independence and the ability to ambulate. Now, over a year later I still have no diagnosis from them, no independence, and I can’t ambulate. If that’s not bad enough, my doctor wasn’t even helpful with getting all of the medical supplies I needed at home to accommodate my new lifestyle. She focused on my blood pressure, and never even got that under control. I did however, finally receive a diagnosis from a completely different doctor since I stopped dealing with Wellstar. Only problem is it was found too late.

Had my first appointment with Dr Atkinson today and I must say, I was impressed. She listened to me and was very helpful. I also thought the staff were very knowledgeable and pleasant.

Nurse Nicole was very congenial and professional. She made me feel comfortable as a new patient.
Dr. Atkinson was just awesome. She is a great listener. After moving from Tennessee and leaving the PCP that I have had for the past 20+ years, I didn't think I would find another doctor as great as the one I left in Tennessee. But Dr. Atkinson proved me wrong. She is just as good. Enjoyed my first visit.

I will admit that I wasn't super comfortable with whoever would replace Ramona Payton. However, after meeting Barbara Huff, all of my hesitations faded away. She has such a calming, assuring personality. She's absolutely knowledgeable and paired with her caring disposition, I was confident that I was in great hands. I think that she more than exceeded expectations. I left the office feeling like things were only going up from there. It's crazy that I feel absolutely comfortable with this person whom I've just met, handling my care. She is an absolute gem and I am so grateful that she's here.

I would recommend Dr. Jeffrey Tharp to every beloved member of my family. In fact I would absolutely insist that they visit him. He’s the only way to go. Kind, mild mannered, deeply caring, has a lab in his very nice, modern facility, thorough, digs deep into problem solvingall in one person!

Glenda is awesome! The only thing that prevented me from leaving 5 stars was the waiting room, it is huge and everyone is sick with different things and can easily get you even more sick than you started with.

Dr. Tharp and his staff are wonderful.
It's sometimes hard to get in with him, unless you have an schedule appointment with due to his responsibility at the hospital.
But you in good hands with Susan
    and Shannon.

What is the point of having a prmary care doctor if you never see them. Also, do you schedule your illness so that you can be sick 3 weeks out in order to be able to see a doctor? If you request to be seen sooner, then some unknown person has to review your request and see if they can work you in & call you back 24-48 hours later. No wonder so many non-emergency patents end up in emergency rooms or urgent care facilities. Looking for a new primary care doctor who places importance on patient care & response time.
