We came here to celebrate the holidays with family. Food was outstanding, as was the service. Drinks were good as well. There is ample parking. The menu has enough variety that all in our party were able to find something they wanted.

Used to come here for brunch a lot when I lived in the states. Incredibly good food, with very good service. Right by the water, the inside is very nice and upscale. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for great food with a view by the water. Will always come back whenever I visit.

Always a great experience here. Great views, great service, great food all the times I have been including tonight. The braised short rib is delicious! Have been here for a girls night, anniversary dinner/date nights, and tonight for a night out with my dad. All times have been so wonderful that I am now even considering hosting a holiday work function here.

I feel compelled to supplement my wife's review with my own. Even at the hassle of having to create yet another account, password and all. I am in the service industry myself. My clients expect the highest level of service. From me and the firm I am part of. Consequently, in my personal life I have the same high level of expectation. Waterman Grille exceeded my highest expectations. It was a magical night. The food matched the service. Spectacular. We are wine fans and many family members and friends have a sophisticated wine background. The restaurant accommodated my desires in that regard and we customized a high end wine list that was typed as an addition to the menu. This is just one example of many that they did to please us. I tipped accordingly. Note to managerment: whatever you pay these people it is not enough.

Our son and daughter-in-Law had their wedding at the Waterman Grille this past Saturday night! Wow, what a beautiful wedding! Very intimate with a nice ambience being near the water with the soft lights glowing outside! Absolutely wonderful!! Tina, Kim, and the entire staff did such an outstanding job! The service was way beyond our high expectations, very accommodating! The food and wine was excellent! All of our guests loved it!
We cannot thank them enough for making their wedding so special!

Waterman Grille hosted my wife and I and our immediate family for a small family only dinner celebration, and they were so hospitable, gracious, thoughtful, and excellent in all aspects of service and the food was superb. Even the fries were amazing lol.
So thankful to their amazing staff -- food and service.

I was really looking forward to trying Waterman because of all the good reviews and word of mouth. But overall a very dissapointing dinner. Crabcake appetizer was average. Oysters were good. Duck entree was ordered med-rare but was undercooked and surprisingly bland with very little sauce. Accompanying lentils and beets were uninspired. Also had the Caesar salad with salmon that was overcooked and two mixed drinks at $14 each. Total bill for two was over $140. Paying top dollar for excellent food is fine but that was not our experience.

We have wanted to try Waterman Grille for a long time. Finally, a notice in a local magazine mentioning a three course menu for $29 on Sunday through Wednesday got us moving. We were so glad we went.
The ambience at 8 on a Monday night was warm and lively, without being too loud. The offerings for the fixed price were enticing. Our starters were mussels and Caesar salad, both generous and delicious. Of the several entrées, we each chose the pan roasted chicken breast with Israeli couscous and bright green beans, again a generous serving. We enjoyed the $15. French Chardonnay that was featured with the menu, and relished the orange almond cake, which came with orange sorbet and a wonderful candy-like crust, a nice combination of tart and sweet. (The other option was creme brulee.)
Our server was as pleasant and attentive as we could wish.

This is by far the best restaurant in Rhode Island! They have excellent food, the best service and a pleasing atmosphere where you can choose to sit outside in their air conditioned and heated seating or their dining room. I would highly recommend this restaurant whether it be for a fancy family dinner, a date or just a night out with friends!

My wife and I live Waterman Grille. They have excellent food and a really pretty Location. The outside deck is wonderful in the summer but the inside is great even in the colder months. They decorate for Christmas and Valentines Day. We have been several times and each time the server has been very attentive and amicable. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Impeccable service by well trained staff. Our food has always been lovely and the price is in line with the better restaurants in Providence.The beautiful location is also a plus--especially in summer. In winter, the fireplace is welcoming and warming. Tip: get the oysters and the calamari for starters! 5 Stars.

The food was great. They remembered we were celebrating our anniversary with a card and a drink at the end. Great portions. Very small place and little noisy but overall a nice place. Plenty of parking.

My family and I go here every year for my mother's birthday. Whether it is only a few of us or a larger group, they happily accommodated us. The atmosphere is relaxing and intimate, the river is gorgeous. The food is always perfectly on point, worth the money spent. The service is above and beyond. Staff knows their stuff, is friendly, and gave us free, fancy dessert for the birthday celebration as well as a hand written card signed by the entire staff! Love this place! They always make it really special for us.

I was here for a wedding. the views were great - you have water on several sides of the building can see several bridges and the shoreline. Food was great. my steak was cooked to perfection. drinks were well made. the building feels brand new, very modern and elegantly apportioned. lots of parking and friendly staff. Nice veranda if you want to eat outside.

Our first visit to this hidden treasure was sure to make us return. Looks from the outside are so deceiving. The bar area is very small but the beautiful bar length salt water aquarium opens things up. The bartenders are very friendly and efficient. After a short wait correctly quoted by hostess we brought our excellent drinks (margarita and sangria) we were welcomed to our table by very enthusiastic and knowledgeable waiter. Both our dinners were well prepared, delicious and plentiful Entire staff from management to valet were exactly what you d hope for. Cant wait to return
