The facility has some problems but appears to be actively trying to improve it. Lots of painting is being done. Floors have been replaced. In bathroom the sink, tub/shower have been replaced. Toilet was stained and wobbled. Nice and clean microwave and mini refrigerator. Nice flatscreen tv. Curtains we're missing a few hooks. Decorated nicely for a budget hotel but one bedspread did have some stains on it. Staff was friendly. Housekeeping made beds emptied trash, tidied bathroom, new towels and swept floor daily. Room was very clean and had no pet, mold or smoking smells. Pets being allowed with no extra cost is nice. Could use some more outside lights. It looked like it was closed when we drove up.

Checkin was unusual for a Motel 6, he just asked for my name and gave me a key. He didn’t check my ID or credit card. At least it was fast. The room was small, but adequate; TV was great with over 120 channels. Sink had a water restricting head that sent very little water out in thin needle streams that splashed everywhere and made it impossible to wash your hands, face, or fill up a cup with water. Shower was a normal head with plenty of pressure, very good. Bed was OK, nothing special. On my second night, I was eating dinner in my room when a Japanese guy opened my door surprising me. He looked around the room and I finally got him to leave. Very creepy. My key didn’t work after that so they reprogrammed it, without checking my ID. There were bright lights on the hotel at night which came through the blackout drapes making it hard to sleep. The grounds of the hotel were dirty and the grass looked like it hadn’t been mowed in months. The pool was green. Exterior doors were open and not locked. A/C worked great, internet worked OK, but nothing special. Price was good. On checkout, no one was at the front desk so I couldn’t get a receipt after waiting 10 minutes, but charge to credit card was accurate.

Friendly @ welcome desk.
Room was clean, although warm and stale - no air circulation (until we turned on the AC)
Bathroom door would jam when closed.
Wi-Fi was good.

This hotel is very impressive. Very high-end interior design and attention to detail. Excellent customer service. It's well above and beyond what I expected for the price.

Stayed here many times. Always clean and comfortable. The owner and family are wonderful people. I do recommend this Motel 6. Only 2 things I would like to be added.

I wish people would base reviews off of price paid. You cant expect luxury and a perfect hotel stay when u are paying half price. This place is clean enough and comfortable enough for the price paid.

In the Louisville area for work during Churchill Downs and this was the last resort for hotels. My room was right by the front desk which was nice until I tried to get some sleep. I could hear e v e r y t h i n g happening in the hallway all night long. Also, what kind of hotel doesn't at least offer soap in the bathroom..??

This is the worst Motel 6, I ever stayed at! 100% smokefree and smell bad and nothing worked in the room. Toilet wouldn't flush, sink wouldn't drain, bed outdated! Security doors are broken, keys useless! They refunded half our money! Please consider going here, especially with children! All over the united states and this is one I won't come back to!

Have stayed in a lot of hotels. This is the best bang for the buck in the area. Have been jumping around from hotel to hotel trying to find clean rooms, good wifi, washer and dryer, and hot water. This place has all those things. Work has me staying in the area long term and this place puts the other hotels that are in the same price range to shame. The rooms are modern the heat and air conditioning works perfectly. They keep your room clean and the staff is friendly.

NICE ROOM CLEAN BED WAS SOME WHAT UNCOMFORTABLE PILLOWS WAS GOOD AND SOFT COULDN'T GET ANY GOOD WAY TO WATCH TV WAS ALWAYS LOOKING UP NICE AND QUITE AND HAD FRESH COFFEE IN LOBBY. STAFF WAS EXECELLENT
