Needs serious upgrades..nice rustic campground, but not been maintained, roads muddy rough sites need raking, brush needs to be cut. Electric and water needs help had to move to get good water supply then electric was kicking out. Got lots of possibility if they put some work in it. Choice of last resort city park much cleaner and better maintained

We got our reservation last minute and couldn't be happier with all of everything the campground has from the camp store to the nice clean tiled showers and restroom areas. Very nice and friendly staff and they even surprised us with a pull through site. Easy hook ups and nicely shaded sites. AAAAAA Plus rating from us!

Wandering Wheels graciously fit us in after another campground had to cancel all of their reservations for the summer. The campground is well maintained and the staff is very friendly. It is very quiet and campers respect the quiet hours. The pool is heated and clean. The bathrooms could use a couple more showers, however, they close the bathrooms from 12-2 pm to clean which some think is an inconvenience but it really isn't because the owners are mindful of having clean bathrooms for their guests. For all of the negative reviews we have read, none are 100% true. All we can say is this is about camping and if your expecting a 'palace of a stay' then you should get a hotel reservation. We would camp here again in a heartbeat!

We stayed at Wandering Wheels Campground for the Fourth of July weekend and had a great experience. Perfect place for those looking to hammock camp like we did. Plenty of tent sites that accommodate hammock camping. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Got us checked in and even walked us down to our site to make sure we had the trees needed for our particular setup. Site is an KOA campground and met all of our expectations. If I had to be critical, I guess I'd say they could use another set of restrooms but it is what you'd expect. We chose our bathroom times when we thought it would be low usage. For our first UP trip, this place was a score! We will return to this site again.

Do not camp here!!!!! Rude staff. Dirty bathrooms! Close only bathroom for two hours in the middle of the day! Mess up reservations. Say they will refund you. Give you the run around.manager DaviD!!! Loud campground until 2am..

Stayed here this past Thurs. through Sun. in the group campground as well as rented 2 of the camping cabins. Our son was getting married and having a small wedding so we needed a pavilion as well. What a wonderful experience! The staff was very accommodating and thoughtful. They checked on us to make sure everything was fine. The bathrooms and showers were clean. We happened to reserve the weekend they were changing over to a KOA, but it was to our benefit as there were a lot of updates to the facility to make it a memorable experience for our whole family! Just one suggestion for improvement--maybe a larger water heater as showers were cold in the morning after high usage.

We had a hard time finding a campground here with ok reviews. So we just went with this one. Very helpful friendly staff, ok accommodations. I'm really not sure what all the complaining is about.The cleanest restrooms ever. Oh & the lady that complained about the pool & sending people to another hotel for $10.🙄 It's a $10 deposit on a key to get into the pool. You give the key back you get your $10 back Seriously. Not a bad place to stay!
