Awesome winter drinks for the season, grwat atmosphere, and a very tolerable noise level. Warm as well. Docked one star for an unfriendly bar staff. Not outright rude, just brusque.

The establishment has always been great drinks and service wise, but my most recent trip was annoying. The entire place was filled with people studying on their laptops, there was no place to sit and enjoy conversation and my cup of coffee. Single individuals should not be allowed to take up an entire booth when the place is full. Hopefully my complaint to the manager with rectify this in the future.

Great local coffee shop that turns into a bar at night. A good study spot, I always get a different tea every time I go. If you plan on studying here be aware that the Wi-Fi is turned off at 10 PM

Walker's is one of my most beloved spots in Athens (and everyone else's, too). They primarily sell beverages: specialty drinks are made in house but guests get their own coffee from a dispenser. Wide beer selection for the afternoon/evenings. Curl up in a large booth with your friends and try the apple raspberry tea in the fall.
Walker's has direct access to Blue Sky through the backdoor (another bar upstairs above the Taco Stand).response / report this review -

Oh man I love this place! Beer AND coffee who would have thought. One of the most ridiculous beer lists I've seen anywhere. Cool little smoking alley outside too.

Wow what a cool place. My first time here and I am impressed. Coffee in the morning and cold beer in the afternoon. Great music list by the folks that work here and just saw a poster for booze and bingo on Thursday night's downstairs!

Good cold coffee drinks, horrid hard seats, college life overdose, but decent atmosphere at times. I'm beyond college age, but I find I like it here on occasion. It can get loud at night, but you have some students working and on laptops. It's hit or miss for me as a post college age guy.but it's one of the only downtown spots I'll go to after 10pm aside from the grill , the globe or Georgia Theater.so that's my flavor.

Cozy pub and coffee joint. Great tasting lattes with a true artisan taste. The atmosphere is quiet enough for studying during the day and evening but can feel a little stuffy at times. Definitely worth a try!

I've only been here in the evening to get a drink with friends. The cocktails are pricey but delicious and a decent sized serving. The atmosphere is chill and relaxed. Great place to hangout and chat or study downstairs.
