We came in a bit late for a quick bite and a drink at the bar..: Loud, unpleasant, drunk crowd, poor food and staff not attentive at all (bar). On the positive side: nice location, directly at the beach and they serve food until late.

I really liked this place. Got a table on the outer balcony overlooking the beach and the Atlantic. Wait staff was friendly. Fish & chips was really good.
The only thing that bugged me, and this has nothing to do with staff or food, was the railing between the deck tables and the beach. It is the size of a telephone pole. and blocked most of my view. I suppose if i'd sat on it I would have had a better view and would have been glad it was as big as it was.response / report this review -

Love eating here. The food is always great and the view is great. Worth every penny to eat here and relax. The band's the have there are excelent too!

You can not go to Vero and not go to Waldo's! It is truly a Million dollar view for $10!!! Their wings are great and I love the Hawaiian Salad!! It is truly a favorite little hideaway although you cant go there without running into someone you know!!

I have lived in Vero for 25 years and I'm kind of embarrassed I've never been here. We ate inside I loved the building it was amazing. It took us a few minutes to get a server. There were 2 and they were unsure who was covering our table. Once we got our server he was very good. Polite and very speedy and willing to answer questions and fill a special request. We did the mountain of mushrooms app it comes with a horseradish sauce. I can't eat spicy stuff so he happily brought us ranch to dip it in. My fish and chips were perfect. The portion was large enough I took some home. My companion had the prime rib again he said it was done correctly. Very good dinner all around.

Planned a surprise party for my best friend. From making the reservation to setting up our table (14 people) it was a great experience. Mo was our waitress. Friendly, professional and on top of everything. It all made the party that much better. Thanks to all.

Had a nice time here. Great live music, right on the beachside. Bartender Kyle was friendly and gave me some good advice on other restaurants and places to go in Vero. Food was good, nothing special. Drinks and atmosphere were A plus! Only downside is my 2 daughters were kicked out of the pool in the middle of the tables by security because we were not guests of the adjoining hotel. They were very upset by that. But overall it was fun.

I've lived in Vero for about ten years and have just experienced Waldo's for the first time this past week. It was very enjoyable. I'm kind of disappointed in myself for not discovering the place earlier because it's my kind of spot. I'm not a drinker but if I was, I would probably have REALLY enjoyed it. Talk about eating on the beach! The food and atmosphere were both delectable. It was busy so there was about a 15 minute wait but staring out over the ocean sort of just passes the time. The service was reasonable and it took awhile to get the check but these things happen. I'm sure it's not a regular occurrence. It certainly won't take me 10 years to find this place again!
