This place was great! Awesome way to spend black Friday. Way more fun dealing with hungry/greedy animals than humans. The animals walk wherever they want, or stop in front of your vehicle and you can watch them decide which side of the vehicle they're going to beg from first. Beware they will snatch the food be let's right out of your hands. I'm shocked they didn't scratch my dually up, they walk right along side your vehicle, even the big animals do this. A couple of them even bumped their heads on my mirror. It's a bit daunting seeing huge sets of antlers or horns inches from your vehicle. If you hate when people smudge up your windows prepare to be driven nuts if you have your windows up in any way. The animals will breathe all over and lick the windows lol. If you keep the windows open expect heads and necks to come in and say hello.

What a wonderful way to see the animals! They have multiple ways to see the animals. There is a walking area that you can touch some of the animals and a bird area where they can land on stick to feed the birds. The main park you can drive though or you can ride one of their open wagons. It was around 100 for our family of five and that was with two buckets of food. The maximum buckets they allow you to buy is four and I wished we would have done that. It takes about two hours to go though the park and our kids really enjoyed it. This is a great experience for all ages and I can't wait to go back again.

This is an amazing place to bring your kids on a trip. It took us about 4 hours to get here from Fairfax county, but was totally worth the trip. We took the truck and they let you ride in the back and feed the animals. The llamas could get a little aggressive, but our kids that are 2 and 4 did fine with one adult in the back. Feeding the giraffes was also a treat since they are my little girls favorite animal. We will come in the near future. Strongly suggest a family trip to this place.

I absolutely love it here. I take my son and it's a two hour drive just to get there. The park is huge and we'll maintained. There's a nice selection of animals. The feed prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and attentive. The small walk through zoo is pleasant and my son loves posing with all the photography cut outs. It's a great place for families.

Had so much fun. There is a walk through section and you can see the animals. The drive through area is just so much fun with the animals coming to your car. So much fun for entire family.

This was so much fun! An incredible experience for the whole family. If getting up close and personal with large animals scares you, skip this. But if you're adventurous and love animals this is for you. *Get extra empty bowls of feed so you can use a little at a time, the animals knock your feed down or take the bowl, hold it tightly. We loved loved loved this place! Friendly staff, clean, pretty decent bathrooms and the animals are very well taken care of. Easy on your wallet too. Overall, wonderful memories await you and your family!

The safari is fun, but could do with some more types of animals. You see about 6 species most of the drive. The walking zoo portion is nice, but could do with paved paths for those with strollers, and more shade for people walking. The new outpost shop area is nice, but not obvious on how to get there since it's on the second floor and you need to walk around. There is an open air wagon ride available for those who do not wish to risk their car on the safari, although most of the animals are very cautious not to hit your car, I noticed.

This place was awesome. You literally get to drive through and feed the animals. Just watch your bucket my wife had hers taken by one of them. The cool thing is these are creatures you would normally never see up close and personal. They also have a walk through area that has cheetahs, timber wolves, monkeys, kangaroos, and giraffes. You can actually feed the giraffes, and they have an enclosure full of parakeets that you can feed. I highly recommend checking this place out, my son, wife, and myself had a great time and will be coming back next summer.

This place was great for a small getaway for the whole family! We did everything there was to do and it took us about 3 1/2 hours.The grounds were very clean and animals seem to be taken well care of. My children really liked the giraffe feeding station. For the drive through I would definitely recommend buying more then one bucket of food. Also, I would recommend eating before or after the trip. There isn't many choices to choose from and they are on the pricey side. Over all a good trip.

Fun drive through safari experience. Budgies are fun to feed. Giraffe feeding is fun, too. The small cages behind plexiglass could use husbandry upgrades (hides and UV-B and heat bulbs closer to reptiles. The monkeys and lemurs, as well as other animals, could use enrichment, foraging opportunities, and toys. Friendly staff, but most aren't knowledgeable about the animals. A nice experience overall. Animals are mostly well taken care of. You don't get to go in to pet the goats, just pet through/over the fence.

Great place to take family. Can get close to many animals. Feed giraffe, get in same cage as 100's of parakeets and walk beside kangaroos. Petting a python snake was a first. Well worth the trip!

I was surprised by the look of the place . They are doing a great job. Everything look great the animal look good and it was fun . Overall more please that I though I would be. Worth the stop. Keep some food for the last stretch people are more temp to stop at the start after the first quarter everything run smooth. If you want a better stop for lunch the pink Cadillac diner is not bad at all .

Up close and personal with so many different animals! The staff was extremely friendly and the grounds were immaculate. A beautiful safe environment to interact with herds of wildlife. The only regret we had was not purchasing enough food for the animals towards the end of the tour. We've traveled I-81 many times and have thought about visiting the safari, but this was our first time doing so. I would definitely stop again as well as recommend it to anyone who loves animals.
