  Great place to hike along the coast. Starting from the north parking lot near Indian Head, I hiked about 5 miles in. It was a crowded on an off season weekend, but still plenty of parking. Most people were on the beach, while just a few actually hiked up to a view of Tillamook Rock, and the lighthouse. Make sure you have waterproof shoes as there is a lot of mud on the trail, otherwise it was nice hike.

  Beautiful Views of Canon Beach and the Tillamook light house. Don't overlook visiting here on your trip to seaside or canon beach. Even the drive through the park is amazing

  Arguably the best beach on the Oregon Coast. Crescent Beach is our family's favorite. It has it all: caves, tide pool, a water fall and beautiful rock formations. Crescent beach does have a long hike in to it, but this is also one of it's benefits as it also makes it one of least crowded beaches in Oregon. This beach is particularly good to visit during low tide to access all the caves at the north end. The trail head is located at the south parking lot of the park. It is a fee park.
  
  Indian Beach at the north parking lot is also a great place to spend a day. It's a popular surfing spot (where my wife and I usually go) and has nice rockery along both the north and south ends of the beach. Also, if you have kiddos, they'll love playing in the two streams that flow over the sand and into the ocean. Hours of damn building and stream manipulation can be had.
  
  Also, Indian Beach is also one of the closest beaches to Portland, so the shorter drive is nice. And, speaking of drives, the drive into the park feels more like you're hiking, but sitting in the comfort of your car. The forest is breathtaking.

  Great place to rest in the car to view sunset. Nice quiet beach for surfer or just beach walking. If you get lucky, whale sighting happens sometimes.
