This area of the Corkscrew area is one of Florida's last true dense wooded areas. Dont think so? Look on Google south of Orlando. You wont find much thick dense woods. Orangetree to me is waste of development. They need to focus on PRESERVING not conserving corkscrew area. As in, dont touch the area. This development is in the dab center bottom of it and is now prone to bear activity. Do your research folks. Is it a nice looking area? Sure. But id much rather see Preserving the area instead. Also areas around rookery bay should also be preserved off tamiami trail or the watershed will be threatened.

Very peaceful gated community with security checkin. The 'older crowd' is very active spending lots of time playing bocci ball, pickle ball, tennis, swimming laps, working out in the gym, tanning by the pool, biking, walking their dogs, etc.. The town center has a gas station, car wash, restaurant/bar, hair salon, and a list of activities they provide in the event spaces. There is constant landscaping in progress all over the facility, and sprinkler systems being used to water plants. On the down side it appeared lots of pesticides were being used on the grounds in conjunction with the use of fresh water to keep the plant life looking pristine.

Nice development with many year-round residents. Resort feel with low hoa fees because we don't have to subsidize a golf course. Nice mix of affordable units. Started in 2005 and built out in 2015, good used units available.
