Yumm! The food was excellent, and we were happy they took reservations and accommodated our party of 14. The atmosphere is a little noisy, but it was busy so to be expected. Family friendly for sure.

Fantastic service, food and atmosphere. My husband had a dozen oysters, they were fresh, I don't eat them, but I was impressed on how great they looked. Loved the fish and chips, the cod fish was lightly breaded flavor was great. We would denitely come again.❤❤❤

I visited Village Fish Market & Restaurant on Good Friday (Nov 24, 2017).

The restaurant wasn’t packed however most of the seats by the windows were taken. The hostess seated my party of 6 as close to a window as possible.

My meal started with the clam soup, it was very tasty & warmed me up as the evening temperature started to drop.

I ordered a punch bowl (pictured below). The drink doesn’t actually come in a punch bowl, and was priced at around $9. Overall, it was a delicious drink, I ordered a second one.

My main course was the Lobster a la Vodka (pictured below). It was one of the pricier items on the seasonal menu but it was absolutely delicious!

I love this restaurant. Food is always excellent. Seafood is super fresh and they give a good size portion. But I went this Sunday and was totally turned off. Across from my table some of the waitstaff was eating and one young woman actually took her shoe off and started massaging her foot. I’m not normally an uptight person but this whole thing grossed me out so bad. Thank god I was done with my meal. There was no manager to speak to so we paid our bill and left. I don’t know that I’ll be going back there anytime soon.

Went there for the first time and it was great. Food was good and so was the atmosphere. The bartender Mike did a great job and we had a lot of laughs. Can't wait to go back.

I took my son and his girlfriend out for dinner here. She and I ordered a barbecue combo and he ordered a pork tenderloin sandwich. We e waited a long time for the food. When it arrived mine was cold except for the chicken and I took a couple of bites of it and had to ask my son if it was cooked or not! They took most of theirs home. I are the ribs and left the rest. I don't go out to eat very often but I won't go there a second time.

Bar manager Mike Benhart was super! Friendly/professional enjoyed his job for sure! He knew what he was talking about as to appetizers/entrees! Not rushing us, suburb service! Made suggestions which I asked for. I Was on vacation & survived Irma!

My favorite restaurant in Fisherman's Village. With the wide variety of choices there is something for everyone! The staff are always friendly and efficient. A seat in the back room or on the patio will get you a beautiful Charlotte Harbor view. Highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Service was great . . . Food sucked. The onion rings nobody in our party liked, they tasted bland like they just threw flour on them. The scallops were the size of giant peas and so much garlic you couldn't tell what they were and the "garlic bread" was just toast. Great views, if all you want to do is drink awesome ambiance.

The Village Fish Market is an excellent place to get a seafood dinner!

Being from New England, it's nice to find a seafood restaurant that does seafood well, and Village Fish Market fits the bill. There are relatively few places in the area that serve whole belly fried clams, but this is one. They do have "clam strips" if you're not a true New Englander. :-)

There's a nice view of Charlotte Harbor and outdoor seating. The interior section is small, but comfortable. Ordering is done in "real time" by the wait staff with hand-held tablets, which makes it very efficient. The staff were very friendly and service was just right neither too much or too little. The menu is (not surprisingly) heavily slanted towards seafood, but you can get steaks or chicken. There are some vegan dishes, but the selection will be small. They also have low-cal and gluten free menus available. Add a full bar and nearly everyone should be able to find something they like.

We started with homemade waffle chips and dip, which everyone loved. Our entrees included sea scallops, lobster roll (New England style), Grouper and Lobster casserole. All were very tasty and received thumbs-up. We also tried their salted caramel cheesecake for dessert - yum!

We've been to VFM a number of times, and we'll surely go again!

Not pet friendly at all! I posted a picture of the laminated pet rules card they gave me right after I was seated (outside). Harpoon Harry's down the pier has excellent food at half the price and welcomes our furry friends.

The codfish sandwich on a croissant was excellent, the coleslaw was just right and my husband's mac and cheese was a creamy delight. Prices are pretty good. We only had a 10 min wait, but our table got a blast of air each time the deck door opened. Overall a good experience and a return visit is planned.
