Excellent for the price you can go wrong, very nice and polite staff, the rooms are very well updated and clean, I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

I arrived for check-in and they said that their website had cancelled my reservation even though I had the printout of my approved reservation. They sold me their 'last room' for an extra $40- I was stuck. The room was great with a nice shower, kitchen and comfortable bed. My tv remote had no batteries so I asked for some. They couldn't find any. I was going out anyway so asked that they put the remote back in the room once they found the batteries. Several hours later there was still no remote. I finally rang their bell at 8am the next day and asked for the remote back so that I could just go buy some batteries myself. They found the batteries. The couple was very nice and the room was nice, but my situation was certainly not handled properly.

It was a great place to be! We didn't book in advanve, just went in and asked for a room. We got a newly renovated one, and it was awsome, spacially the shower, because it had presure on the water 👍🏼

I loved the two different jacuzzi rooms I have had here. Very spacious and recommend staying here if you cook since they also have kitchens.

This place was amazing it had a full kitchen awesome shower It's family owned and operated the owner is such a nice guy . I would definitely stay here again it's perfect for a family

Really nice place. I was happily surprised. I ended up staying at the Viking because all the bigger hotels were booked or the prices had gone up over $250 a night (which I didn't want to pay). The Viking was a great place for the price and I will probably choose to stay here again when staying in Ventura regardless of the availability or prices of other locations. (And I felt safe).

The Viking Motel on Thompson in Ventura California it reminds me of a small Beach Hotel nice rooms with hot tubs walking distance to good restaurants liquor stores gas stations supermarkets

Very interesting mote. A little run down on the outside, but the rooms were great. You get a lot of space for the price, including a full kitchen and a large spa bath. Decors a little odd but acceptable for the accommodations.

Very clean, modern and spacious with a kitchen. Stayed two nights, only problem is that the beds are way too plush so I couldn't sleep and my father slept on the floor. Kitchen doesn't have enough spoons so we took turns eating cereal. Quality is very nice, particularly the tiled bathrooms.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed the stay here was very peaceful and enjoyed the new remodeled room Bobbi was an excellent helper I would definitely be staying here next time I'm in Ventura planning on getting the jacuzzi room lol I truly recommended here oh love the bowling place that's close by the motel excellent live music drinks and bowling 👌🏼👌🏼
